  2. This mod contains a huge, remotely-accessible, partner-friendly home, custom playable races, partners (optional), game fixes/modifications, and a multitude of custom items, objects, and spells to enrich the Oblivion experience.

    Unlike most player homes, you have to work a little to get the hideout and its goodies. But, once you get access to it, you can visit the hideout anytime, from anywhere. Furthermore, the hideout and all of the addon areas reset whenever you return to the hideout, meaning that any items that have been removed from any of the respawning containers in the hideout will be replenished whenever you leave and return to the hideout.

    This mod could be viewed as a compilation. Instead of uploading items as new mods, they are included in this mod in the form up updates or addons. As a result, there will be many updates to the main mod and new files added pretty regularly. Make sure to check back here for the latest files available (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/43162/).

    If you find any bugs or have any suggestions please let me know. The mod description page and readmes/text files (included in the download) are constantly updated with any reported bugs/conflicts related to this mod. Please thoroughly read the mod description page or the included readmes/text files before reporting any bugs/conflicts.

    Overall - There are no conflicts that I am aware of for this mod, except for any mod that contains OBSE plugins (DLLS) that affect the way Oblivion handles magic effects or a mod that drastically changes the Arcane University grounds and has a possibility of “hiding†the initial “goodies†container. More about this conflict is explained below.

    OBME & Custom Spell Icons Conflict - OBME and Custom Spell Icons are incompatible with each other. If OBME and CSI are installed at the same time, instant CTD’s (crashes to desktop) will occur. As OBME is required for this mod, removing CSI will solve this problem and allow you to use this mod.

    The only mods that conflict with Cross Goodies are those that use OBSE plugins (DLLs) or mods (ESPs/ESMs) that change the way magic effects, most notably icons, are handled. The conflict is not with Cross Goodies. The conflict is with the Oblivion Magic Extender plugin (OBME), required by and included with Cross Goodies.

    The mods that have been found to cause the conflict above are listed below:

    Paladin Mod - The Hand of Arkay (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/41095/)
    ------Delete "PaladinModCustomSpellIcons.dll" in the "Data\OBSE\Plugins" directory of the Oblivion install directory.
    Custom Spell Icons (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/26196/)
    ------Delete "CustomSpellIcons.dll" in the "Data\OBSE\Plugins" directory of the Oblivion install directory and disable "CustomSpellIcons.esm".
    Script Effect Icon Replacer (http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/7232/)
    ------Disable "ScriptEffectIconReplace.esp" and/or "ScriptIcon_Replacer.esp".

    If you have any of these mods, they must be uninstalled/deleted for Cross Goodies to work (and avoid CTD). DO NOT delete "OBME.dll" or "OBME_CS.dll" in the "Data\OBSE\Plugins" directory of the Oblivion install directory or Cross Goodies will not work!

    Quest – The items will not be available until the player completes the quest. The quest will not start until the player has reached a level of at least 15.

    Secret Stash, Remote Potion, & Remote Ingredient Containers – This container, as all containers in Oblivion, suffers from the container bug inherent to Oblivion. This is Oblivion-related and not the fault of any mod. If you notice that items added to the “stash†seem to disappear they are not really gone (usually). Simply select “Take All†and the item(s) should show up in your inventory.

    Secret Hideout – A huge, partner-friendly home, with sleeping for ten (10) and enough extra space for the player to add furniture and objects from mods, like Imperial Furniture, and make it his own. All respawning objects (containers, flora, etc.) respawn every time the player leaves and reenters the hideout.

    Orgasmitron - The Orgasmitron is not a modeling milestone, but I think you will find it to be very unique and fun to use. It is medieval times after all.

    Alchemy Station/Sorter – A stationary alchemy station/sorter that gives the player the option to either create a potion or automatically store ingredient items in the ingredient cabinet (independently accessible and located near the station). If the player chooses to create a potion, master-level apparatuses and all ingredients “stored†in the ingredient cabinet are added to the player and the alchemy screen is shown. Upon closing the alchemy screen, the apparatuses are removed and all ingredients carried by the player are automatically moved to the ingredient cabinet.
    * If used remotely, the player might have to cast the “sorting†spell twice sometimes to effectively move all items to the ingredient cabinet. This is a limitation of the gaming engine. This does not happen very often.

    Brewer – A custom brewing station, located in the west wing of the hideout, where the player can make custom brews. The available recipes are seen in the Custom Brew Manual, near the brewer. The ingredients are available from within a respawning ingredient crate near the brewer. All of the ingredients (except for wheat grain) are exclusive to the brewer and carry no alchemy effects.

    Race Changer – Allows the player to change races in-game without losing any stats or acquired abilities (e.g. Gray Prince’s Training) and adding any abilities/spells native to the race the player changes to. This item requires the player to follow the directions, stated in “Cross_Goodies_Race_Changer_ReadMe.rtfâ€, to work properly. Please read “Cross_Goodies_Race_Changer_ReadMe.rtf†before using the Race Changer.

    Item Replicator – Not only makes copies of whatever items and their amounts, but also replaces the original items with brand new copies of themselves (as if they were purchased new – using original base IDs). If you put 100 Iron Arrows in the “Replicator Reaction Chamber†and activate the “Replicator Activator†you will find 200 Iron Arrows in the “Replicator Reaction Chamber†when the replication is complete. The replicator works on any non-quest inventory item in the game, including items that have been made via enchanting altars, sigil stones, or enchantment gems. Best of all, as the replicator script DOES NOT use the “DuplicateAllItems†command or any commands that create “clones†of objects and it actively destroys all items before replicating them, virtually an unlimited number of items can be replicated without the fear of “savegame bloatâ€.

    Practice Scamps – Why have practice scamps? Why would you practice on an inanimate object when you can practice on living creatures and gain experience points? The scamps only inflict one (1) point of damage to their targets on every hit and keep respawning until the player shuts him off. The scamps spawn in the west wing. You can turn the practice scamps on/off via the Hideout Power Gem.

    Summon Spells (Target Versions) – What makes these spells unique is that, unlike most summon spells, they act on a target.

    • “At Target†Version – Minions will be summoned by the target and immediately attack the target. Once the target has been killed, the minions will die as well.

    • “Target†Version – The minions will be summoned by the player and immediately attack the target. Once the target has been killed, the minions will assume normal summon behavior on behalf of the player.

    Share The Love – Added by interaction with Orgasmitron. Has no magicka cost. Instead, uses are determined by the amount of love juice (added by interaction with the Orgasmitron) the player has. When the player runs out of love juice the spell is removed. When the player acquires more love juice the spell is added to the player again.

    Impart Knowledge – Touch spell that teaches the target some of the Cross Goodies spells. It checks the target’s magic school levels and adds the appropriate leveled spell to the target’s spell list. Area-of-effect spells have been omitted to keep spells casted from target from affecting the player unless they are intended to do so.

    Spell “Upgrade†Functionality – Spells are added by the Tome of Enlightenment in their “base†state. Many of the spells can be upgraded by interaction with the Hideout Power Gem. The amount of upgrade is determined by the player’s skill levels in the various magic schools. When spells are updated, the lower-level spells are replaced by the higher-level spells.

    Partners – The partner plug-ins come in two flavors (Essential/Non-essential). Non-essential versions are indicated by “NEâ€. Make sure you only install/select either the essential OR the non-essential version of each plug-in to use at a time.

    Enchantment Gems – Act as Sigil Stones. They are separated, as labeled, for weapons (blades/blunts/bows), apparel (clothing/armor/amulets/rings), or staffs. Make sure to choose the correct type of item when enchanting items with these gems to limit undesirable results.

    • “Staff†Enchantment Gems - The enchantment menu will not show that the “target†effects are being applied to the staff. But, they will be. The enchanted staff effects will be displayed as “strike†in the slide-out menu of the staff in inventory view. But, the effects are applied as “target†effects.

    Sneak Attack Multiplier – Increases with Stealth stat increase (including enchantments, spells, etc.).
    • Marksman increases: Novice (0-24) – 2x, Apprentice (25-49) – 3x, Journeyman (50-74) – 5x, Expert (75-99) – 7x, Master (100+) – 9x
    • Melee increases:, Novice (0-24) – 4x, Apprentice (25-49) – 6x, Journeyman (50-74) – 8x, Expert (75-99) – 12x, Master (100+) – 16x

    - Copy the contents of the “Data†directory in the zip to the "Data" directory of the Oblivion install directory. In other words, copy “Cross_Goodies.esmâ€, “Cross_Goodies.espâ€, and the folder, named “OBSEâ€, to the “Data†directory of the Oblivion install directory.
    - Partner Plug-ins – Copy either the essential OR non-essential version of the plug-ins to the “Data†directory of the Oblivion install directory.
    - Enable the mod files in the Oblivion configuration. Make sure to use the proper load order.

    The preferred, and supported, method of install is manual/OBMM. This mod can be installed by other means (Wrye Bash, Bain, BOSS, etc.). However, I cannot offer support for other install methods or managers. There are too many variables to consider and I do not use any of the other managers.

    Proper load order is crucial to the operation of this mod. Refer to “Cross_Goodies_Load_Order.rtf†for a diagram of proper load order.

    Delete Cross_Goodies.esm, Cross_Goodies.esp, and Crooss_Goodies.bsa from the "Data" directory of the Oblivion install directory.

    Items can be found in Uncle Cross’s Cabinet of Goodies in the Secret Hideout. The Secret Hideout is accessed by casting the corresponding spell (learned upon completion of quest).

    Spells can be learned from the Tome of Enlightenment.

    From v5.8 or lower:
    * You can either follow the directions for “From v6.0 or higher†and load a saved game prior to installing the mod or follow the directions below:

    1. Remove any and all items you have added to the hideout or any of its containers and store them in a “safe†place, where you can retrieve them later
    2. Relocate any partners you have in the hideout to a place you can retrieve them later
    3. Save your game
    4. Exit Oblivion
    5. Disable the Cross Goodies plug-in
    6. Start Oblivion and load your saved game (You will get the missing plug-in message…Click OK)
    7. Save your game again
    8. Follow the instructions for “From 6.0 or higherâ€
    9. Start Oblivion and load you new saved game (or “continueâ€)

    * You will lose all the items/spells from the mod and have to complete the quest again to obtain the items/spells. I know this is an inconvenience. But, I believe it will be well worth it.

    From 6.0 or higher:

    Install – Replace/Overwrite the Cross_Goodies.esm, Cross_Goodies.esp, and Cross_Goodies.bsa in the "Data" directory of the Oblivion install directory with the files of the same names from the archive.

    The preferred, and supported, method of install is manual/OBMM. This mod can be installed by other means (Wrye Bash, Bain, BOSS, etc.). However, I cannot offer support for other install methods or managers. There are too many variables to consider and I do not use any of the other managers.

    New items – Can be found in the Uncle Cross’s Cabinet of Goodies container in the Secret Hideout.
    New spells – Added by equipping/activating the Tome of Enlightenment item. Answer “Yes†to the prompt and the new spells will be added. This will add all the “base†spells even if you have already upgraded them previously. To clean up your spell list (remove redundant, lower-level spells), upgrade the spells, via the Hideout Power Gem.

  3. Renovates Shetcombe Farm inside & out.
    This may not be an ideal player house for everyone, as it was never really intended to be a "public release mod". I built it very specifically for my character, her beloved companion, and her hound. That means there aren't my usual multiple versions for compatibility, or my usual config menu for customization, things like that. It just is what it is, for those who happen to like it.
    Features: spellmaking/enchanting, static leveled alchemy, Cobl ingredient storage, Cobl grinder, Cobl luggage, no-requirement healing altar (have some tea!), endless chili pot, teleport spell, lots of safe storage, two elf-sized beds, one Elvis-sized bed, a stable for several horses, and one hunky Nord to live next door, hunt, and work the fields. Path grids have been edited and seating has been made persistent to keep followers happy.
    The quest item relevant to the house is on the edge of the bar nearest the door.
    All meshes have been pyffi'd for best performance, all resources have unique file paths, and the plugin has been cleaned with TES4Edit for best compatibility.

  4. This little tent can be purchased from Jensine's Good As New Merchandise in the IC Market District for 100 septims. It has two usable bedrolls and is companion-friendly inside, though the space is quite limited.
    To use your tent, drop your Tent Materials on the ground, and grab/drag it so the extra bit of fabric poking out is facing you. Then activate the Tent Materials (put your crosshair on it and press SPACEBAR or whatever key you've assigned, as though you were going to pick it up), and take a quick step back. Your tent will appear.
    To pick up the Tent Materials without setting up the tent, or to take the tent down, activate while sneaking.
    All of the containers in the tent are safe for storage except for the Wastebasket, which will warn you as such on first use.
    I made this mod for me to make playtesting large quest mods a more enjoyable experience. Therefore, it may not be to everyone's taste, and it does not have support patches for other mods. It comes only as-is.

  5. The Isle of Stroti
    Version 1.1
    By Zaldir

    Description
    This mod is a tribute to the great modeller/texturer Stroti!
    It adds a little island, named The Isle of Stroti, which is in it's own worldspace. It got a quest, which you can start in Anvil, at the Count's Arms. I have tried to get as many of Stroti's resources in it (all that fitted for this mod.)

    The island has been raided by Pirates, and you have to defeat them! And when you have done so, you will become the lord of the island, and the manor can be used as a player home.

    Install
    Extract all content to your data folder.

    Uninstall
    Delete 'Stroti Tribute.esp' from your Data Folder. Do not delete any of the resources, as most likely, another mod is also using Stroti's resources.

  6. Benirus Manor Remade
    Version 2.6.1
    By Zaldir

    Description
    This mod fixes the Benirus Manor garden to look a little nicer, by adding flowers, fixing the walls, and so on.
    It also fixes up the inside of the manor by changing the lighting to make it less creepy. And the basement has also gone through a change with some lighting altering and removal of the ugly stuff.

    Install
    Extract all content to your data folder.

    Uninstall
    Delete "Benirus Manor Remade.esp" from your Data folder.

    Incompatibility
    Open Cities - Since the cells is changed in OC, this just won't work together.

    =========================================================================

    Description
    ===========

    Solve a short quest, gain a home with a handy location, suitable in particular for a new character but also for the more experienced adventurer.

    As soon as I saw Stroti's Tiny house model, I felt it would be perfect as a first home for a new character.

    Maple Cottage is located on the Imperial Isle, south of the bridge to Weye. In order to "earn" it, you will first have to do a little quest - talk to Nerussa at Wawnet Inn about "A good place to stay".

    Maple cottage is lorefriendly and furnished to be spacy in spite of its small size. There is also a small garden with flowers and vegetables.

    Two versions - purist and comfortable
    =====================================

    There are two esp-files included - one purist version and one for the player who prefers a little extra comfort.
    The purist version only includes the house with a small basement, but thanks to a bedroll that can be activated, there is space also for a companion.
    The comfortable version has a larger basement with a good livingroom.
    You can at any point switch esp without uninstalling/reinstalling the mod. Just make sure that you move the items stored in the basement you are abandoning. Should you still forget to move the items, use the console command coc emtinybasement2 resp. emtinybasementpurist to get to the alternate basement.To return to the house, use the console command coc emtinyhouse.

    Companionfriendly
    =================

    The cottage is fully path-gridded. The purist version has a bedroll that can be activated in order to make space for a companion. The comfortable version has aditionally two beds in the basement room.
    In a small chest on the drawer upstairs you will find "companion keys". Put a key in your companion's inventory, an this will give the companion additional options. You will be able to tell the companion where to go in the house, or to take a walk outside, or to do some small tasks for you (like sweeping the floors, raking the garden or collecting ingredients).

    Special Features
    ================

    The cottage includes the following facilities:
    - Crafting facilities:
    - you may craft leather armor from pelts
    - you may craft jewels from gold- and silver nuggets or silver items - smelter facility in the garden.
    - you may craft lockpicks from smelted metal items.
    - extensive crafting manual is provided in the cottage.
    - you may make your own soup or stew in the cooking pot at the main room fireplace.
    - you may make your own coffee by using the coffee pot at the main room fireplace
    - you may light/extinguish out the fires by activating the wateringcans placed next to them.
    - you may make your own alchemy potions by activating the alchemy equipment in the basement.
    - you may repair your equipment by activating the basement anvil.
    - you may pour beer and wine from the kegs in the basement. Please use the appropriate pitchers and tankards for this purpose.
    - you may cure yourself at the Mara statue in the bedroom.
    - you may activate/deactivate the extra bedrolls by clicking on the yellow bedroll in the shelf next to the dining table.
    - you may give your companions additional orders while in the cottage. In order to do this, make sure that they each carry a "companion key" which can be found in a small chest on a drawer upstairs.
    - daylight will automatically vanish during the night hours.
    - the containers are non-respawning, with one exception: the "Companion Key chest RESPAWNS" upstairs

    COBL-addon
    ==========

    A COBL-addon is provided for COBL-users. It will add the following features:

    - The Luggage - is located upstairs, close to the bed, but is only available if you have found the original Luggage in Anvil.
    - Alchemy sorter - is located in the basement, regardless if you use the purist or the comfortable version.
    - Dinnerplate is placed on the dinnertable.
    - One of the kegs in the basement will give water if you are using a survival mod.

    I have choosen to make a COBL-add-on instead of a full COBL-version. My main reason for this is that I tend to continue to tinker on and improve my mods, and then I don't want to have to alter two esps. Obviously, the add-on has to load AFTER Lakeside home, else many of the COBL-functions won't work.

    Unique landscapes
    =================

    A patch for Unique Landscapes IC Isle is provided.

    Install
    =======
    Just drop the bsa-package as well as one of the esps (remove its subfolder first) in your Oblivion/Data folder. Don't forget to check the mod when starting the game!

    Credits
    =======

    Stroti - for Ravenhorst modder resource as well as a huge part of the statics, furniture, containers and items that I have used for furnishing the cottage and garden. (modders resources)
    Jbvw - for planters originally belonging in his Vaernlor Manor mod (modders resource permission)
    MEO - for the modular fireplaces and the watering-cans, the bookset, the wine crates and some of the food containers. (modders resource)
    Xiamara - for the bedroll bags. (modders resource)
    Shawn Dworshak - for the alchemy desk script (modders resource)
    Phaedra - for the planters (modders resource)
    Lycanthrops - for the tanning rack, the Mara statue and the chamber pot (in the bedroom drawers).
    CDCooley - for the Smelter scripts.

  9. Name: Sunburn Ranch
    Version: 2.01
    Date: 11/6/2011
    Category: Buildings
    Requirements: The Shivering Isles and Shivering Isles patch v1.2.0416
    Author(s): John Yerkes aka McMuffin
    Source: http://www.oblivionsrealestate.com/ or http://www.tesnexus.com/

    Description
    ===========
    A coastal farm in the Shivering Isles, free for the taking.

    Location
    ========
    Just north of Aichan on the West coast of Mania, in the Shivering Isles.

    Details
    =======

    Version 1.0:

    This is my entry into Oblivion Real Estate's Country Homes Challenge. It is a coastal farm and Baliwog ranch in the Shivering isles located on the West coast in Mania.
    Accessed by a wooden bridge, the structure is raised on stilts above the beach with a large covered deck facing the sea. The house is built in the exterior cell only, like the encampments found throughout the Shivering Isles. Bamboo panels enclose the 'interior', with open windows giving views of the landscape and sea from the upper story. The lower story of the house is comprised of kitchen and sitting area. Upstairs, the loft has two comfortable sleeping mats. Movable bamboo screens can be arranged as desired to create different spaces within. Safe storage can be found in chests and bags littered about the house, as well as crates and barrels in the attic. Thirteen safe containers in total.
    To one side of the bridge is the hatchery, sheltered by stone walls. Opposite the hatchery is the Baliwog pen, where three young Baliwogs are enclosed in their shallow pool by stone and stout wooden fences. At the bridge's end are the tool shed, butchery, and smokehouse. The smoker yields a respawning supply of smoked Baliwog legs and meat. Above the beach, a path leads to two terraced fields of fruit, vegetables, and tobacco. The upper field ends in a small garden with a pond overarched by a symbolic bridge.

    New in 2.0:
    -Raise your own Baliwogs from eggs! Watch as they grow. Then butcher them for meat! >D
    -working smoker makes Smoked Baliwog Legs & Meat, Smoked Crab Meat, and Smoked Hunger Tongues.
    -Interactive cooking: Make foods from ingredients collected in the Isles.
    -Meditate in the garden to gain a magickal bonus.
    -Baliwog hook bestows the power to command Baliwogs.

    Note: A 'clean save' may be necessary for everything to work as intended when upgrading from version 1. Load the game, gather all your things from the house, and make a new save. Quit the game and untick Sunburn.esp. Load the new save and save once again. Uninstall version 1, ideally with a Mod Manager. Install version 2 and load your clean save.

    Install
    =======
    1. Extract Sunburn.esp and Sunburn.bsa into your /Oblivion/Data/ folder.
    2. Activate Sunburn.esp in your Oblivion launcher and play.

    Uninstall
    =========
    1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
    2. Delete all files associated with the mod. Or use a Mod Manager like a civilized person.

    Incompatibility
    ===============
    Will conflict with any mod editing cells around -12,11 in the SEworld worldspace.

    Known Issues or Bugs
    ====================
    -Despite my best efforts, rain may sometimes briefly be seen falling inside the house. Version 2: changed the method of weather control, should work better but very rarely the weather may change instantly when approaching the house. In testing I only saw this happen twice.
    -I could not discover the way to keep exterior cells from reseting. Although in testing, objects placed from the player's inventory do survive, and all containers except the smokers are safe (version 2: Smokers *should* now be safe as well since they convert ingredients with a script, though why you'd keep stuff in the smoker is beyond me). The screens should stay in place if you pick up and drop them first. Lets just say a mischievous ghost sometimes rearranges things.

    History
    =======
    1.0, 2009/11/29 - Initial release.
    2.0, 2011/11/08 - Improved everything, added to the landscape, many interactive features.
    2.01, 2011/11/08 - Forgot to take out the debug messages on the Baliwog Hook. No Biggie.

    To the wonderful people who have translated Carah's Caravan Redux V1.0 - I've made some changes to version 1.2 that might cause minor issues to your translated version. Please update.

    Description
    ===========

    Enjoy the carefree living like Gypsies have for hundreds of years, away from the noisy confusion of dirty, crowded cities.
    Moonlight reflecting off the White Rose river enhances the mood while you dine by a cheerful fire each evening.
    Your only neighbors are the animals of the forest when they happen to wander past.

    Location
    ========
    Located across the road from The Tower Stone. Between the Ayleid Ruin of Vindesel and Pell's Gate, south of The Imperial Isle.

    Details
    =======
    This home has plenty of storage space for its size. The Main Cart sleeps two, while the Guest Cart made for companions, even the four legged kind, sleeps three.

    All containers do not respawn, UNLESS, they have an astricks " * " beside its name.
    Please do not store anything in these containers, because they do respawn.

    The exterior lights, windows, and fire are scripted to come on after the sun goes down, and turn off after sunrise.

    The Clyesdale is ridable and essential.

    It isn't as involved as some of my other player homes.
    This project started as an upgrade for Carah's Caravan, but ended up being an entity of its own.

    I hope you enjoy my mod, and as they say in Romany, Sastimos! (To you health!)

  12. A cozy home built in one of the most beautiful areas in Oblivion: Frostfire Glade. I copied the world and placed a home within. (The original Frostfire Glade is completely unaltered.)

    Access to the house is currently through a dungeon but I plan on adding a teleporter pad to the basement of the house once I find a good spot to hide its counterpart in the Imperial City. Done. Once you have found it once you can use the teleporter pad in the basement to teleport to a location in the Imperial City.

    Video I made of the house:

  15. A quaint house in Anvil, right next to Benirus Manor. The owner, Ghorak Gro-Kashmak had to return to his homeland on family business and the house is yours for the taking, but only if you find the key first...

    The house is more suited to a hunter/warrior type of character, though thieves will also find a home here. Any other type of character may not feel as comfortable but that's purely for role-playing purposes.

    All containers in the main house and the bedroom area of the basement are safe for storage and the house is companion friendly, up to one companion. You can bring more but they won't have a place to sleep.

    It features a day/night cycle within the capabilities of the engine and toggleable lights. I don't advise turning on the lights during the day or else the house will be terribly overlit.

    You need Oblivion patched to the latest version (1.2.0416) to play this mod. Earlier versions may work but haven't been tested.

    Compatibility with city overhaul mods and any overhaul of Benirus Manor (Besides Better Benirus Manor) is not assured as of yet. It should be compatible with anything else, though, as long as it doesn't change the cells next to Benirus Manor where the tree used to be.

    For more information, check the ReadMe.

  16. Well, I've been on holiday for a week, with no internet and no access to my ongoing projects, so I started this little new one; a totally vanilla house to be created in a week. Well, it almost was, and I'm happy enough. This is the part where I shamelessly paste in the readme so I don't need to think of anything new to write . Well, have fun!

    Now with Skyrim-inspired crafting and "real" roses.

    Description
    ===========

    Solve a fairytale-like mini-quest, gain a lovely medieval-style manor, now with Skyrim-inspired Crafting facilities.

    It was love at first sight when I found Stroti's wonderful modders resource "Ravenhorst Manor", and ever since then I have wanted to make a medieval style player abode with a fairytale-like quest.
    The Red Rose Manor is the result of ten days intense work.

    The Red Rose Manor is located on a hilltop on the road between Weye and Skingrad. But, in order to gain access to it you have to talk to the female mages at the Skingrad Mages Guild, who will know more about the house and about the secret it has been holding for more than hundred years...

    The Red Rose Manor is lore-friendly and furnished in medieval keep style. Apart from the main cell with mainhall, master bed suite, attic and basement, there is also an additional underground cave with a natural waterpool suitable for swimming. The mod also includes two display-cases and 101 non-respawning containers (many of them "mini-barrels) as well as one respawning trash-bin and three respawning wool barrels.

    New in ver 2
    ============

    - Skyrim-inspired Crafting has been added. You can now convert pelts into leather and make your own leather armor, you can smelt gold- and silver nuggets as well as misc silver items like spoons, urns etc to get ingots, and with the ingots you can craft your own jewelry. Additionally, you can enhance gold- and silver jewelry with various gems before you sell them or enchant them. An ingame Crafting Manual has been added - you'll find it both at the basement workbench and in bookshelves, as well as in a couple of other places in the manor.
    - added a simple stable
    - added an outdoor privvy.
    - Last but not least - thanks to Lycanthrops, Red Rose Manor now has "real" roses instead of the ones I made using ivy-leaves and recolored dogwood bushes.

    New in ver 1.1
    ==============
    - added a hedge with flower-shrubs in the backyard
    - added an enchanting station in the attic.
    - in addition to the companion keys (see below) there are now also companion amulets, this in order to make things smoother for those who use keychain mods.
    - adjusted some pathgrids.
    - added little "shelves" at the windows on second floor; hopefully this will keep the planters from falling down.
    Several new interactive features:
    - you may use wool from the wool barrels (respawning) to make your own yarn at the spinning wheels.
    - you may use yarn to make your own cloth bolts in the loom.
    - you may use any cloth bolt (not folded cloth) to sew your own outfits by using the equipment in the Sewing Kit Chest in the attic close to the wool barrel.
    - you may make your own coffee from the coffee bin in the kitchen next to the bread tin.

    Companionfriendly
    =================

    The manor is fully path-gridded and has five persistent beds (one doublebed and four singlebeds). On top of that, there are two bedrolls that you can activate and de-activate. I.e. you can live here comfortably with up to seven companions.
    In a small chest on a drawer in the attic you will find "companion keys". Put a key in your companion's inventory, and this will give the companion additional options. You will be able to tell the companion where to go in the house, or to take a walk outdoors, or swim in the underground pool, or to do some small tasks for you (like sweeping the floors, raking the garden or collecting ingredients).

    Special Features
    ================

    Crafting and cooking:
    ====================

    A crafting manual can be found in the manor, on the workbench in the basement as well as in bookshelves and other places. This is the content of it:

    Smelter -In the smelter, located at the rear of Red Rose Manor, you convert silver and gold nuggets to ingots. You can also melt silver items like urns, vases, spoons in order to get ingots. Simply put the nuggets or items in the smelter. Use the bellow to light/extinguish the fire.

    Crafting Jewelry - Use the small hammer (activator) on the red cloth on the workbench to craft your own jewelry. You will need ingots from the smelter in order to do so.

    Enhancing Jewelry - Use the small tongs (container) on the red cloth on the workbench to enhance your gold jewelry with gems. You will need gold or silver jewelry and appropriate gems (rubies, sapphires, emeralds or diamonds) in order to do so. Put one gem and one piece of jewelry in the container. Close the container and re-open it - your enhanced jewelry is ready!
    Note that you can not make silver diamond jewelry and that you cannot make any jewelry using flawed gems.

    Tanning - At the Tanning Rack you can craft leather of your bear- lion- or wolf pelts.

    Leather Armor - After you have converted pelts into leather, you can create your own leather armor. Use the hammer placed on the forge (activator) for this purpose.

    Repair - You can repair your armor at the basement anvil.

    Wine making - Use the Wine Maker to brew your own wine. You will need grapes in order to do so. You will find enough grapes to start the production in the basement handcarts.
    You can pour yourself a bottle of wine or beer from the kegs in the basement and in the kitchen.

    Spinning - Use the Spinning Wheels to spin your own yarn. Wool can be found in one container in the basement and one in the attic. Note that the woold will respawn over time, allowing you to spin more yarn.

    Weaving - Use the loom in the attic to weave you own bolts of cloth. Note that you will need yarn for this purpose.

    Sewing - There is a Sewing Chest in the attic. You can use it to make your own outfits. Note that you will need bolts of cloth for this purpose.

    Baking - You can bake your own bread in the bread tin at the kitchen fireplace. Note that you will need flour for this purpose (and further ingredients if you want to bake other than common bread).

    Soup - You can make your own soup with beneficial effects in the cooking pot at the kitchen fireplace. Note that you will need the appropriate ingredients for this purpose.

    Coffee - You can make your own coffee in the kitchen. There is a coffee jar placed next to the Bread tin.

    Alchemy - Activate the mortar on the alchemy station in the attic in order to brew your own potions.

    Spellmaking and Enchanting - There are spellmaking and enchantment stations available in the attic.

    Others
    ======

    - you may light/turn out the fires by clicking on the wateringcans placed next to them.
    - You may pour yourself a bottle of wine or beer from the kegs in the basement and in the kitchen.
    - you may heal and cure yourself on a daily basis by praying at the altar on the drawers to the left of the fireplace in the master bedroom.
    - you may teleport to the major cities in Cyrodiil by activating the statue in front of the mirror in the cave below the basement. In order to use the teleport facility, you will have to find the hidden magic crystal ball.
    - you may activate/deactivate the two extra bedrolls in the attic if the beds aren't sufficient for all your companions. The yellow bedrolls are placed at one of the walls.
    - you may give your companions additional orders while in the manor. In order to do this, make sure that they each carry a "companion key" which can be found in a small chest on a drawer in the attic.
    - daylight will automatically vanish during the night hours.
    - the containers are non-respawning, with two exceptions: the "Companion Key chest RESPAWNS" in the attic and the "Trashbin RESPAWNS" barrel in the basement.

    Install
    =======
    Just drop the bsa-package as well as the esp in your Oblivion/Data folder. Don't forget to check the mod when starting the game!

    Add-ons:

    COBL-addon
    The following COBL-features have been incorporated:

    - The Luggage - is located in the attic, next to the stairs, but is only available if you have found the original Luggage in Anvil.
    - Alchemy sorter - is located together with the alchemy desk in the attic.
    - Grinder - is located on the alchemy desk.
    - Two dinnerplates are placed on the dinnertable in the mainhall.
    - One of the kegs in the basement will give water if you are using a survival mod.
    - both the basement well and the well in the garden will give water if you are using a survival mod.

    I have choosen to make a COBL-add-on instead of a full COBL-version. My main reason for this is that I tend to continue to tinker on and improve my mods, and then I don't want to have to alter two esps. Obviously, the add-on has to load AFTER Red Rose Manor, else many of the COBL-functions won't work.

    Vilja in Red Rose Manor ver 1.3

    If you are using my Red Rose Manor and have Companion Vilja by me and CDCooley in tow, you might want to use this add-on. It adds new dialog to Vilja - dialog that will only be available while you are in Red Rose Manor or in the area right outside it - and it also gives her a number of new things to do while you are staying in the manor. Among other things, she will take up painting, and if you let her paint ever so often, she will now and then actually complete a new painting that she will be happy to decorate your home with (not as many as in the Aleswell add-on, though, as there aren't many places in the manor that I find suitable for the purpose). She will also help out in the garden, bring you a bottle of beer, go shopping and actually return home with some goods. And you can ask her to sit down with you at one of the fireplaces or at the dinnertable. A number of tasks she will also perform spontaneously, without you having to ask her. These occations are based on random 100 and will probably not happen every day.
    She will also have additional chatter and comments related to the manor, and if she is with you while you are doing the quest for the manor, she will comment on this as well.

  18. BRUMA HOUSE

    Hey guys, this is one of my first mods. Its an added house to Bruma, right next to the north gate.

    ________________________________________________________________

    V2.0

    The quest is finally completed.
    there is just voice acting to be finished now.

    The quest starts by talking to the man near Bruma main gate.
    ________________________________________________________________
    old versions
    v1.0

    Living room - currently just a table, a pretty much empty bookshelf and lighting
    Big Bedroom - double bed, empty bookshelf, clothes drawer.
    Small Bedroom - single bed, drawers, closet (containing more drawers)
    Crawlspace(locked)
    Crawlspace Door Key - i've put it in the drawers in the small bedroom.
    In there there is an enchanting station.
    _______________________________________________________________
    v1.1

    More stuff everywhere - makes it look alot more cosier.

    a door to basement on inside, and outside (basement has not been fully created yet - there's no lighting or furniture down there)
    _______________________________________________________________
    v1.2

    Part of the basement done up.

    Armoury - with personal Merchant/Armourer

    more is yet to be updated
    _______________________________________________________________
    v1.3

    Finished basement.
    That will be all i'll be doing for now, i want to get on with the quest.

    Basement -
    - Training Room
    - Alchemy Room
    - with garden, and ingredients chest (hopefully using the same script as the archmage chest)

    basement is now lighter than in some screen shots
    _______________________________________________________________

    Compatability --

    It should work with just the original Oblivion file, i dont think any other is required. So hopefully no conflicts elsewhere (fingers crossed).
    I've had no other conflicts myself yet, but if you recieve any, please comment and i'll try to correct them.

    There may be issues with any mod that changes bruma.

    Notably - Vampire Society by Galejro (which i have used) puts a building exactly where this mod does, so there becomes a big confilct there.

    _______________________________________________________________

    Hopefully you'll enjoy having this very basic house mod.
    Again, if you have any questions, or even wish to express dis-taste, then please comment.

    _______________________________________________________________

    Thanks.

  19. Verson 1.0 updated to 1.1 with patches and a "cleaned" esp. Before loading version 1.1 be sure to disable Cherry Brooke and save with it disabled to avoid save-game corruptions.

    ~ First off I want to say thank you to Greenwarden, Khettinna, WhoGuru and Yevic for inspurriring me to make this mod, and the two sister mods that are to follow. These 3 ladies and lad are a neverending fount of support and inspurriation for me. XoXoXo And to everyone at TESA, this community is a fantastic place to call home for a modder. ~

    Just North of Chorrol lies a unique little landscape; Cherry Brooke Grove.
    This tiny little corner of the Colovian Highlands is home to a quiet little paradise; flowing waterfalls, a bounty of beautiful trees and falling leaves and serenity await that who finds it's gates.

    A brief quest and a little bit of searching and it all can be yours, a scenic location to relax in completely with an estate-house to rest your head in after long days of adventuring. Once you arrive at the grove it is but a simple matter of locating the house key and viola. Some imagination might be needed to find the key, then again, maybe not.

    The house is functional, complete with a kitchen with plenty of storage and food, a dining room and a living room all on the main floor. The second floor holds a small library and a reading nook and the bedroom. In the basement is more storage and a practise (I'm British, this is how we spell practice sorreh!) area and a functional alchemy lab. There are a few other surprises in the house and basement but I will not tell you what or where.

    Explore the house and the grove and you shall be rewarded. ^_^

    ** Thank you so much to EruditeDragon, Yevic, Donnato and Khettinna for playtesting Cherry Brooke Grove prior to release. With out you this would not have been finished and you have my love <3 **

  20. This mod will add a locked, supposedly unoccupied house off the road west of Aleswell. There is a small workshop accessible from the backyard that has remained unlocked, however, and is available to squatters or the thrifty adventurer.

    This is the beta release. I plan to add quest content and allow player ownership of the estate in the future, so check back for updates.

    Installation:
    Note: There are no additional resources required to run this mod. Therefore, there is no distinction at this point between the latest version and a patch, so only one file is available for download.

    1) Download the VelloriEstateBETA.7z archive.
    2) Extract to the Oblivion/Data folder
    3) Check off VelloriEstate.esp in the "Data Files" section of the oblivion launcher, or in your mod manager.

    Compatability: No known issues

    Thanks for downloading. Please PM Game3nder @ TES Alliance with any comments.

    Description:
    =================

    Stanwyck Heights is my project for CS Basics Final Exam, a cozy mountain retreat. The atmosphere is very comfortable, with two bedrooms upstairs, and a study, den, and dining area downstairs. There is a small basement where one may store a few items in a couple of chests or practice swordplay with a dummy. A large front porch area terminates at the end of a sheer drop, affording a splendid view of the valley below. On a clear day, you can see the whole of Cheydinhal.

    There is a stable behind the resort, along with a small garden and a workshop. The workshop is multi-functional, housing both a smithy and a kitchen. It also contains a smoke room that holds a generous portion of venison and mutton, all hickory-smoked to perfection. Meals are prepared here and then delivered to the guests in the resort. The guests have sometimes complained of cold meals, so there may be a bit of work in the future to dig a tunnel between the buildings.

    The road to Stanwyck Heights has long since disappeared, due to landslides, neglect, and mother nature. What is left is a cobblestone entryway from the east into the main grounds. This entryway is illuminated with several hanging lanterns, which normally scare away the local fauna. There should be no shortage, however, of wild game in these hills.

    The resort is always open for the PC. It is meant to be a comfortable resting place for those who like to scour the frozen mountains in search of adventure. Just travel north of Cheydinhal to Fanacas. Then, head east up the mountains. You may not be able to take the direct route. If so, you may reach Stanwyck Heights by taking a roundabout route from the north or south.

  22. This is my release of my Final Exam for the CS Basic Class. This is my very first time modding any game so I kept it simple while trying to make sure I included all that was required for the exam. Any feedback is welcome.

    If I have forgot anything please let me know. I will correct it and make it right! All of you that "know" me know that I in no way take credit for anything I did not create myself. I put this together with many resources.. I have done retextures and recolors. I in no way take credit for things I did not make so If I missed anything.. please let me know. I colored the rug texture so if you want to use this texture go ahead just credit me and DarkRider because it was his to begin with. The curtain mesh by mjy was edited by WindmillTilter, its sorta similar to the original but if you chose to use it please credit the work. The wonderful snowglobe was made by InsanitySorrow.
