There are plenty of oppertunities to download crazy, sexual, or re-textured armors- this mod aims to bring you something more belivable and unique that fits into the game. Also includes never-before-seen "Healing Herbs" item, and a fully voiced quest!

Location
========
You can find the store to begin the quest by reading Handbills in many Blacksmiths across cyrodill- or to find it manually, head to the center of the Red Road (left from Vilverin, next to Roxey Inn).

Details
=======
Ursa and his wife, Aelurus, are not the kind of people that spring to mind when you think of the words "perfect couple". Aelurus grew up in a wealthy academic family in the Elven Gardens district; Ursa was raised by theives in a cold shack in the Waterfront. Aelurus is organised (or as Ursa would say, bossy) whilst Ursa is spontainious (or as Aelurus would say, foolish). Ursa puts his money on Blue Team once a week at the Arena whilst Aelurus browses First edition; Aelurus likes Surilie wine whilst Ursa is strictly a Tamika man. Yet somehow, they find themselves the happiest of couples, making a living running the newly opened store on the Red Road selling thier uniquely crafted "Ramshackle Armor"- until now. Ursa has been violently kidnapped and Aelurus is helpless to do anything alone- can you help reunite the Cat and the Bear, and put their Ramshackle Armory back into buisness?

This is my first mod, adding a new vendor to the game selling brand new, tottaly unique armors. These aren't super-hyper-mega-black-spikes-of-doom armors with a +10 cleavage enchantment either- these are beatup, bloodstained, scavanged, Ramshackle Armors!

Mr. Bear's armory offers 3 new sets of armor, a new set of weapons, and a never before seen item- ressurect fallen friends or heal yourself completly with the rare and expensive "Healing Herbs" item! All of this has to be earned, with a short but exciting quest that expands on everyone's favorite "My First Dungeon"- Vilverin.

Features:

* Heavy, full body "Battle Armor" with a terrorfying hood+mask combination head piece, all avaiable in two flavors for mid and high level characters!

* Light and stealthy "Darkened Armor" with seperate cape and mask- completements the new...

*... Darkened Weapon Set! These stealthy and unusual weapons are uniquely balanced again mid/high level weaponary- they are lighter and move faster than elven blades, yet are delicate and do less damage.

*Brand new, never before seen "healing herbs" that can ressurect your fallen friends, or heal you completly in a pinch!

*A short but exciting quest with a scripted and challanging boss fight against
an enemy with a unique weakness...

*Explore a beautiful undiscovered chamber of Vilverin!

* an intelligent companion- she will remark and react to what she sees throughout the quest.

*Full, good quality voice acting- all recorded on a good quality mic and run through noise removal software before being imported.

Install
=======
you know what to do

stick the "Meshes", "Textures", and "Sounds" folders in to your Oblivion/Data folder. (If you own Hemmingways Capes it may ask to overwrite a file- you don't need to.) Open up your mod manager of choice and put a tick next to "mysterious Bear's Ramshackle Armory". (if you don't own a mod manager, open up the oblivion launcher, click "data files" and put a cross next to it)

Uninstall
=========

Why would you want to do that?? Well, if you're sure...

uncheck the ESP the same way you checked it. Then, delete these folders:

data/meshes/mysterious meshes
data/textures/mysterious textures
data/textures/menus/icons/mysterious icons
data/sounds/voices/mysterious Mr Bears Ramshackle Armory .esp

Incompatibility
===============
There SHOULD be no incompatibilitys that I can think of, but it's my first mod and so could be a litle dirty in places. Any problems, send me a message/ leave a comment and I WILL (try to) fix it!

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
There are some pretty things going down with the lip syncing in the first half of the quest. (you know, the half with all the dialog). This is due to me A) recording things ineffectvly (hey, first time!) B) getting noise removal settings a bit wrong and C) Loosing the orignals. It seemed a bit mean to ask my voice actor to go back and re do them all because of MY mistakes- and whilst I do quite a good womanly voice, I don't think it suited the character very much.

There are also the accepted standard of oblivion bugs- notably, your companion will run into walls with passion and commitment at a couple of points due to oblivions strange way of handeling detection and pathfinding. The best way to fix this is just to find and kill whatever she's chasing after- don't worry if you cant though, she will teleport to you during key moments.

IMPORANT:
--------

To use the Healing Herbs, you need to have them on a hotkey. This is hinted at quite well in the instructions you are given in game, but I didn't want to break immersion.
