Yeah, does anyone have any ideas on how to fill this up? I'm just about out of ideas for this mod ![]()
I would really like a unique castle exterior in there somewhere, maybe in the circle area at the top of the image!
any ideas, comments, suggestions, etc would be greatly appreciated
Before you add anything else you should run the region editor and generate some landscape textures, plants, trees, rocks, etc. Then you can go in an tweak things to suit your taste and build around the landscape instead of adding landscape around structures which is a pain. Build your world, then add your architecture.
Giving it a try right now. I have no idea what I really did, but its generating the path grids I think
I might have to send you a PM if I can't figure this out. I'll check out the CS wiki first though
Thank you for letting me know about this

I kind of do it backwards from the way Rider sugguested. For me landscaping is more fun than building structures and such.
If you need ideas DsoS I would love to help, would even landscape that for you by hand if you want. Lemme know ok? Ciao
However, I can't seem to figure out how to generate all the rocks, tree's, flora, etc.
Any ideas?
I thought of that after I generated the pathgrids and saved it, so I reverted back to the backup esp.
@DarkRider:
I checked that out the other night when you first posted about the Region Editor. I skimmed through it a little bit then read through most of it Sunday.
So far I'm learning it at a snails pace, but I suppose we all do.
I do have one question:
How do I remove the ground cover that is not removable by repainting with the landscape editor?
Image here of what I'm asking about

When you open the landscape editor in the CS at the bottom will be a section called "vertex colour". If you click the box next to "edit color" you can right click to remove those textures, or left click to apply more (which will just be black). They are for shadowing around rocks, trees, etc.
