I would recommend though, when you are checking your texture work ingame to always check it under the same lighting conditions first. Out of doors preferably, then you can start checking what it looks like under different conditions to fine tune it.

saved this dang thing 60 different ways...FINALLY found settings that both Gimp AND Skyrim can agree on and play together..I am tired...sigh...
