  1. I'll give a shot at it too, even though I'm a ghost here now? I'll throw some gnarly custom icons on them
  2. New bows look wicked! Nothing but the best wishes for you guys!
  3. That's the old red... er Red? I just sent you the blue axe as well!
  4. Quote Dang, I'm impressed! I don't generally have the patience to do anything nearly so intricate. They are beautiful, keep it up, Shadow ;-)CC Thanks man! Working on a battleaxe now and I thought the dagger took some time.... *insert pic of me ripping my hair out*
  5. Written in a yet ever expanding folder from this site~ Thank you kapitan!
  6. Thank you for the tips! Copied and pasted your whole post onto notepad! I'll give it a try this morning and reply again if I have any issues! Thanks again WT!
  7. Hey there all I have a general question that could use some good answers. Another modder loved a banner I made for them and now they want me to do some tattered ones as well. I was looking at the dds/converted psd file for the tattered Kvatch banner and I looks like there is some alpha applied to it. Is it necessary to apply the alpha to it? If so could someone give me a slightly detailed walk through with their approach to making them? This is a first attempt for me at one of these so any help at all would be immensely appreciated Thanks guys! Shadow
  8. Sorry I get excited when I have an idea. I have an idea for a unique twist. A different gem effect, not welkynd stone.
  9. Quote @Vereta: Thanks Mate, I don't need anyone to do the work for me, just need to know how it's done. Most textures are an image you can alter, this one has no image in GIMP, but does in NifSkope, so I'm trying to figure out how that works! @Shadow: Not sure wht that means! LOL I want to make it happen, but the computer difference made me say nvrmnd..
  10. Quote Quote R4 these are wicked! (did I say this before) From an Illustrator point of view, as I;m still newer to textures, I might suggest removing the big white stripes (battle axe and whom ever) leave that up to the magic enchantments. Just make a reallly, I mean REALLLY rich color for each tone you use. You want it to POP! My goal with these was to implement the vanilla Welkynd Stone textures, with as few changes to the welkynd parts as possible (resize, crop, and sharpen :-P), while using the patterns hidden in them, as opposed to masking them. I did originally want to make a fourth, more vibrant color (deep purple [ah! Now "Smoke on the Water" is stuck in my head!!!"]), but I'm actually getting sick of Welkynd retexes :-P (I'm sure some time after I do some other stuff, at which point I will also add the Mace). I highly value your opinion, and am glad you think so highly of these!@Verita I'm glad you like these, and will be interested to see what you create ;-) Playboy I want to make a twizted variant? of these for you... Red Mountain fire opal™ style? If not for your use, then for the peeps? Whatya say? I seez it!
  11. All work and no play makes Shadow a dull boy
