Time flies, and now after almost 10 years since starting to play TES games, I'm coming back setting up my mod list and going to try to get back to things. Dragon's returning to roost.
-
It's been so long since I played Skyrim, nevermind modded it. And with other things I wonder. Should I return to it? Is it worth it? Or move to other ventures?

Honestly? I don't know. I have been working on other projects here and there. Attempting streaming and trying to get back into art. I -hope- I still have my backups of my old project. I'd -love- to make it into a whole quest but seeing the works of others? I have a lot more work to do to make it worthwhile. There's other things I'd like to do, but honestly? I don't even know what I'd want to try building this time around.

I have pc parts coming in for my first actual EVER pc build. Ryzen 7 1800x with an awesome mobo and case. Granted I'm starting with cheaper amd 4gb video card for now. I'll be upgrading to a 1080ti hopefully by year end, and then a 4k monitor next year. May even look into going SLI as well for stuff. Also will FINALLY returning to roots and doing art/learning how to and maybe even do commissions. Finally getting into the "build your own pc" crowd.

Corsair's H115i AIO. I love it, and it's quiet. A low "hum" is all I hear. And yes! I got games. For now guild wars 2 is installed on my SSD. I'll eventually get back to Skyrim on PC. Have a list of games/programs I need to install. Just installed one of my artprograms. I just need to install the free photoshop cs2 from Adobe and I -should- be good to go.

Still recovering, entering a more grueling phase I think. Exhaustion's here, but so too is recovery. The mental part is exhausting.
-
So digital art may become a thing for me. If all works out right and well? I could enter he field there, atop of streaming.
-
The joys of trying to create a channel name for streaming, and a official name for a world your building... and do art when the brain is not cooperating.
-
So... I got ESO finally for my ps4, given laptop is 'okay' desktop is dead. So this, and potentially streaming is going to be a thing.
-
I'm still alive. Despite the year grinding me down and denying me to work on artwork and my other skills. Course if certain rumors are true, I may return to modding. Without a desktop I cannot do certain aspects of what I want to do.
-
Disappearing(more than I do already) for awhile, dunno if I'll go back to modding or not. Have a lot of re-evaluating to do in my life right now and not sure what's next for me.

All this suffering with the allergies/post nasal drip was made worthwhile when I saw the Final Fantasy 7 remake trailer.
-
I am not doing so hot, apparently having a reaction with my chloresterol medicine. Dr trip tomorrow and hopefully I'll be fine.
-
So apparently to make my new tablet work on the desktop, I need to disable part of security that checks for the liscenses. Thus making the computer at risk. But i need to do this so I can work on learning digital art.

It's a regular intuos. My problem is aside from meaning laptop is when I upgraded the hard drive I was tired of having the windows alert flag thing. So I deleted some stuff I forgot now, lost the repair disk and now I had to go into disabling the driver sign check. Can't change settings or access anything on the laptop like recalibrating the sensitivity but it still works.

Interview over... here's hoping for good news
-
Fun fact, I spent almost a thousand hours in the creation kit. 14 hours in Skyrim. Something wrong there.
-
Last week of school, last project turned in. I'm done!

You know you're onto something with a paper when you have three times the expected amount.

Rome was impressive with the roads and established reasons why people were on different sides of the street. When in chariots you couldn't do driveby attacks/beheadings. It worked until pistols and rifles came around. I did an 18 page paper(including title page, abstract and references) on defining what evil is.

Inquisition looks great, the only downside right now, is the hair models, they look plastic and the characters could look a little bit better. The landscape and the terrain and other models from what I've seen look incredible.

Skyrim Problems, forgetting which house your stuff is in.

Designing a map for Armarantha, my worldspace. Does it mean I might create a worldspace of my own? Perhaps but I'm going to need to learn how to create a heightmap in photoshop and go on from there. The landmass is huge and sadly TES doesn't support such a large mass. Unless I have two, yes two worldspaces for one continent.

I remember creating a mini worldspace in Oblivion just to see if I could do it, which was entertaining. Actually it was fun, though there was a bug that caused my NPCs to randomly spawn at the 0,0 coordinates (I suspect the same one that saw characters "disappearing" from mini-worldspaces like Megaton in FO3... but I digress).

Deciding to hunker down and teach myself how to start making textures from scratch. I've put it off for far too long.
-
Fun final project. I either go merchant or companion mod in Skyrim. Question is, which way should I go given I have 2 weeks... and need to do commentary on it all.
-
So this term I have Fiction Writing and AI(artificial intelligence) coming up. Since I do roleplaying as a hobby I can do the fiction writing I think. The AI is going to be interesting, if I can use Skyrim great, if not I'm going to have an interesting problem.

Last week and thankfully an easy week. I can enjoy a few weeks off for gaming and working on building a portfolio.. maybe.
