      Beth seems to be notorious for horses with an immortality complex... they all seem to think they are marked essential, even when they are, in reality, not.....

      I don't think even a well trained war horse would attack a dragon without being FORCED to do so by the annoying humanoid on it's back... I am sure, left to their own devices, they would FAR rather run off and find some nice grass to munch on, that ISN'T being mowed by fire breath.... or similar.
