  3. Thank you! I uploaded a new ESP with some fixes.
  4. Wow, it has been a long time, 3 years exactly since I started this project, but here it is finally.... This mod does not follow lore! Edit - Dec 4th, I have corrected the missing sound files, please download the new Sound Files. They are on TesNexus now. I actually lost my original credit list so if you are supposed to be there let me know and I will correct. This mod requires Elys Universal Silent Voice There is simply to much dialog to do individual silent voice and lip sync files. THIS FILE HAS BEEN CLEANED WITH tes4eDIT. This mod has five towns...... LAKEWOOD VILLAGE ================ 10 building town near Mackamentain. There is an inn, a general store and two buyable player houses. There are some asthetic changes to this town including vertex shading, a new balcony, new signs. You can now rent a room at the inn. RAVENVIEW VILLAGE ================= Some small fixes and asthetic changes including vertex shading and new signs. This town has 14 buildings with an inn, a general store and two towns. There are two player houses, one buyable and one obtained through quest. WOODLAND VILLAGE ================ Some small fixes. This town has 27 buildings with an inn, a clothes store, an armor store, a bakery, a town hall and a buyable player home. HAVEN BAY ========= This small town is located in Valenwood, it contains a shop, an inn, street merchants and a very unique buyable player home. PELL'S GATE =========== This is the largest town in this mod and has the most to do and see. Some 30 buildings. This is a town created for thieves with enterable windows, hidden safes, stealable paintings, openable chests, dark alleys. You will have to search carefully though as Pell's Gate residents hide their valuables carefully. In the town there is... A Town Hall A Gallery 4 buyable player homes (3 apartments and a town house) A clothing Store An Armor Store A Book Store A General Store Alchemy Shop A Fence Street merchants A posh Hotel Two further inns New dialog for almost every NPC Houses with exterior views. An upper level street A lower level street Two main quests and some other things to do. Some Important Info =============== You MUST be out of the Gallery by 7 pm, as the receptionist and the curator will tell you. After the theft security was heightened and the guards will attack on sight and not stop to ask why you are there. You cannot access the security room in the Gallery during the Quest to Find the Septim Crown. This is to prevent you from robbing the Gallery while you work there. You cannot access the security room during the day until 7 pm. This is to ensure you have to do your robbing the hard way. Quest to find the Septim Crown ============================== This quest takes place within the Gallery. The septims crown has been stolen and you have a chance to help find it. To start this quest you need to read the latest newsletter about the theft. This can be found in the newspaper holder right outside the General Store. Once you have read that you can go to the Gallery and speak to the Curator, she will be in the main Atrium in the afternoons. She needs to like and trust you before she will offer you a position on the Gallery staff, as her secretary. Once you have the job she will give you a key and you can access the staff areas of the Gallery, including your own office. On the desk of your office you will find further instructions and also instructions on where to find a complete ingame walkthrough if you are having trouble. PLEASE NOTE, this quest has no journal updates. This is a 'whodunnit' quest to find the thief. Suggestion - When you get a new note in your office pigeonhole, remove it. Otherwise it can get confusing as the notes build up. Quest to Rob the Gallery ======================== PLEASE NOTE, you cannot start this quest unless you have completed the previous quest, 'Quest to Find the Septim Crown'. You found the crown and saw the goodies in the Gallery and would like some of those for yourself. Go to the Cloak n' Dagger Tavern and speak to Gramak, the barman. Follow the dialog and after go speak to that grey hooded man sitting in the corner beckoning you over. He has a proposition for you. NOTE - You need a very high sneak skill to do this quest. NOTE - You can only access the security room in the Gallery at night, this was put in place to prevent the player from robbing it during the day. In order to make it more difficult. Hints ===== There is so much in this mod that even I have forgotten. Search everything very carefully or you will miss things. Activate everything. *SAVE OFTEN! You can die in some unconventional ways in this mod. *Toilets are flushable and sinks useable. *Check the news bill boards outside the General Store often. When the news changes check the news stand and grab the newest Black Horse Courier. *If you buy a house with curtains, there is a pull rope to one side to open and close them. *The windows in Seaview House are openable. *Very rarely in the houses with exterior views, it may be snowing. Just leave and then reenter the cell. *All front doors on the player's houses are lockable and unlockable. *Examine paintings very carefully. *NPCs hide their money as safely as they can, be on the look out for purses of money hidden in houses. *In the Egyptian Display in the Gallery, be sure to read the book in the display case as it contains answers to some important questions. *At the end of an 'important event' characters dialog can change to reflect it. *Be sure to read books as there are quite a few. *There is some three way dialog. *The ELm Street Apartment is bigger the you think. Take a very close look around it. *Some windows can be entered. REQUIREMENTS ============ This mod requires OBSE and ELy's Silent Dialog Shivering Isles is NOT required CONFLICTS ========= This mod conflicts with.... The Lost Spires, I am working on a patch UL Cloudtop Mountains, Ravenview Village conflicts with this. The UL had a patch for it, hopefully we can get it updated. INSTALLATION ============ The file is split into two, the main part with ESP, meshes, textures and the second file with the sound. A never fail method I now use is: Download to Desktop. Now unzip to Desktop (Download ZipGenius for free off the net if you don't have a program to unzip) Open My Computer/Local Disk (C:)/ Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion Then click once on Data Files to highlight it Minimize size of screen to allow you to see the extracted files on Desktop Drag each extracted file (ESP, Meshes, Textures, Sound) and "Drop" onto "DataFiles" A message will come up for each one, just click "yes to all" Start up Oblivion Go into Data Files Click the box to the side of "Shezries Towns" to activate this And off you go. If I have left anyone out, please let me know and I will correct. USAGE ====== Do not plagerise this work or combine and upload with other mods. All new stories in this mod are copy write to Sherri Smith or their respective authors. All voice acting is the property of their respective owners, Greenwarden and Phillip Cook aka Chibi0roxas and may not be reused without their express permission. This mod is a work in progress, I will be adding to it for a long time to come so DO NOT give permission for it to be reuploaded or modified in any way. Sorry, but I see no reason why I should have to complete with someone elses modification of my own work. However if you wish to create an addon mod that requires Shezrie's Towns, please contact me on the ORE or Official Forums and we can discuss. I cannot and will NOT allow adult addons, especially as I run a PG website where this mod will be hosted. All resources are property of their respective owners and you must apply to them or their readmes for permission to use them. If there is a resource you wish to use that is not listed in the credits, I made it. I am happy for people to use the retextured resources I made freely, with credit. However, some of the resources I made were made using other people's textures and meshes. So if you wish to use them contact me so I can identify the resource and let you know who, if anyone, you need to credit in addition to myself. Finally ======= I hope you enjoy this mod and take the time to explore thoroughly. There is one thing in particular I would love to hear from you, did you get lost in Pell's Gate? The reason I ask is because I got lost for a long time and if you did then I have done my job in creating an interesting, diverse town. There is much more I have planned for the mod.... Pickpockets Dialog for the other four towns. Pickpockets and more thief presence in Pell's Gate. A long 'whodunnit' quest for Woodland Village. Travelers between all five towns. Another town, cause why not. Expand Elm Street in Pell's Gate. Voiced dialog for the Gallery Curator. (I have the perfect voice actor in mind) The Blood Brotherhood quest line. And much more...... Have fun! Shezrie DOWNLOAD FROM TESNEXUS
  5. Sorry to hear about the car accident, I am very relieved to hear that none of you were hurt. Best wishes to you all DarkRider, Ldyflcn and the new little bundle of joy.
  6. No profile comments? :o

    We need to fix that!

  7. Thank you for the welcomes! I am really glad you enjoy the villages, Colin_man. Sorry no pictures of the fire dancing, singed hair never makes a good pic. I am back after taking some months off as I needed a break. Looking forward to working on my sites and hanging out with the community again.
  8. Hi, I am Shezrie. I am female, currently living in France, although I can't speak much French at all. I am a modder and I also run Oblivion's Real Estate which goes hand in hand with my obsession with houses and villages. I modded for Morrowind for a short while, then Oblivion came out and I moved over to that. Modding for me is a creative outlet, a chance to build 3d towns and homes in a way I never could in real life. Other then modding I love working out, singing, fencing, staff fire dancing and visiting the many chateaus and quaint villages around here in the south of France.
  9. Wow, what to say really. First let me clear things up as I would hate for misunderstanding. I am Meek and Shezrie, one person. Thank you to those who have written kind and supportive words here in this thread. The Poolace situation had been going on behind closed doors for well over six months now and had gotten to the point where I dreaded coming online. There is not half the story publicly known. The village Poolace uploaded was not my village remade and the Lakewood Village references were purposefully put there to deceive me and cause trouble. Couple that with an extremely stressful real life where I have faced literal homeless a few times over the past year and an unbearable living situation and the loss of a few loved ones. This is merely a statement of facts, not a plea for sympathy. Simply to let you know that other issues were most definitely a factor. I could not simply up and leave without explanation. If I just modded then I would have just packed up and left without a word. However I run Oblivion's Real Estate and Modders of ORE and a forum and I cannot simply vanish without explanation. If my parting words were construed as a plea for attention then that is furthest from the truth. Like I said on my site, I get more then enough attention and I am a very private person. I do not consider myself a particularily well known modder, catering as I do to a certain smaller section of the Oblivion community, so did not consider my removal of my modding to be of much consequence, however ORE is a very popular site with thousands of users, all owed an explanation. If I am considered an 'unstable' modder then so be it. I am glad to now know how you stand on all this, Williesea, as I had taken your apologies at face value and assumed you had no issue with me, hence the invitation to be an ORE judge. I however have no issue with you at all. I have indeed decided to stay. I decided to stay because of the ORE community and ORE, a community made stronger and closer by the recent troubles and attacks on all of us, not just me. Every forum goes through such a thing in it's life, it is how they deal with it and whether they are able to emerge stronger from it that is the real teller. As for missing posts on the forum...that is due to Proboards, no post is removed without explanation. Proboards has been a little unsteady recently I have noticed, especially when I am missing pms and my own posts. Yes the Oblivion community has lost quite a few modders recently and rather then blame those modders and accuse them all of a sudden inexplicable spate of over sensitivity, I would be more inclined to look at it logically and come to the conclusion that the atmosphere has changed for modders and may not be as friendly as it once was. For myself I have been modding since 2005 for Morrowind and Oblivion and have taken my share of criticism that I have laughed off or taken seriously and made needed corrections. As has Jannix Quin and others. However when that criticism becomes constant outright abuse it can get to much. Take the case of Alien Slof who temporarily quit due to abuse after years of modding. That makes how many modders recently? Something is rotten here, there is a sudden stream of modders leaving and you cannot logically put that down to a 'sudden over sensitivity' on the modder's side. And yet there is nothing any one single person can do about it. You all cannot go out there and change all the nasty folks on the web. However we can perhaps demonstrate a little more understanding when a modder chooses to leave and respect their decision rather then ridicule them for their choice, understanding that factors we may not be aware of may be involved. This is a general statement and discussion, aimed at providing a different perspective and not at any particular post and certainly not at any person. Since this whole Poolace affair I have analyzed my own attitude to my modding and ORE and realized that a change in my own attitude was in order. Yes I had let the naysayers and real life get to me over time. I have realized what I was doing and how it was affecting my own community of ORE. A community built with the intent of equality, respect, friendliness and sharing the sheer love of modding as I am sure this community is. And I have eaten humble pie and publicly acknowledged that a change in my own attitude was in order. Which has actually, to my surprise, earned me even more ridicule and even more insults from those out side my community, can't please them all. Yes I let it all get to me, though it seemed like it was like a barrage of unassailable negativity at one time, the likes of which I have not seen in all my days on the net. However for the sake of my community and the wonderful people there and for the sheer love of modding I will be sticking around and making my mods available to all again. Trying to recapture that basic enjoyment of modding and releasing work that I had before all the drama and negativity rose. Anyway, I had no idea that this community existed until today and am glad to see it. We need strong, well run communities like this if we are to continue to create an environment that inspires and motivates modders. Hopefully this will clear up things a bit more.
