  1. Why do you want to buy DVD-ROM while for the same price you can have DVD-Burner? ROM means Read Only Memory so you can only read DVD discs with that drive you posted link to. With the burner you can also write your own discs (it may come in handy sometimes, you'll never know

    another w.i.p.

I agree, but this was quick in game shot, and there, any other lighter background has a texture, so it would be a bit more distracting...
  3. I've searched for this device on ebay, but couldn't find it :/
  4. I bet that was a wish of everyone ;] Anyway I'm really looking forward to the next IS' move ;] Unique Uniqueness of Unique Uniques...

    w.i.p.

@syscrusher -> Rapiers are always one handed (at least I've seen no any two handed version just yet ;]). As for proportions, well, the perspective deludes you ;] The item is rotated in such a way that the grip and blade look shorter than they really are. Windmill Tiler - nothing to see in the reverse, just a small little ball at the very end ;] As for Montoya, well, I had to google it ;p And that's a nice concept for exquisite type of a weapon - I may try to create something inspired by this later, though I think that sword from that movie is definitley "overdone".
  6. Actually IS makes high poly models, so a bit less of work on textures is needed to achieve better results than working with low poly objects. Though it's true that good texture can make model only better.
  7. This one's nice. And out of curiosity, if I may of course, how long it takes for you to make one of these? As I can spend more than a week on a single weapon :/
  8. I'm not so convinced by those glowing runes, though it may look better in game than in this render... otherwise quite interesting concept. I always like to see your work.
  9. I've figured out your schemes IS! You're making a "silent" bow replacer for those flamboyant branches in Skyrim, releasing pieces of this puzzle one by one... What did I win? ;] Anyway currently there's only one tutorial related to bows that I know of - mine ;] Though it covers 3DS way to get the job done, and I bet it isn't so detailed as that of IS will be.
  10. I haven't created any weapons but bows, and one thing in NifSkope destroys bow's behavior - File -> Auto Sanitize before Save option should be turned off (and it's on by default). That option is supposed to sort all branches correctly at save, and while it works perfect for Oblivion and other games, I've found it to make more harm than good for Skyrim.

    another one...

not yet, I'm just making stuff - plan to release later as a pack after I'll have couple of these...
  12. Good that my assumptions were confirmed. Shoud I ever decide to create a cube, I prefer to choose my folders instead of defaults. Thx.
  13. Thank you very much IS for all those tutorials like this... after a couple of months break, there's no need to reiventing the forgotten weel again, but just a quick look at things here is enough to bring back some of the lost memory ;] Though I have some questions for this cube-tut here. I see no screenshot or paragraph about file names and file paths. From what I saw in original setup, cubemaps are stored inside of textures\cubemaps folder (and usually have _e suffix in filename), and the path to the file with cube-map for certain NiTriShape is stored at 5th place on its BSShaderTextureSet list. I can only presume that cubemaps don't need _e suffix in filenames and don't need to be placed inside of that cubemaps folder - is that correct? But the path to cube map in BSShaderTextureSet is mandatory I think... had no time to test this -?-

PAINTINGS and FRAMES modders resource for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game DESCRIPTION: There are no any paintings in Skyrim by default. So I created this resource for modders to use and fill this gap. All 59 paintings have new frames and different textures created by me from scratch. And should be lore friendly too. INSTALLATION: » extract to "Skyrim\Data" folder (default path from Steam's main folder is: Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\Data). PREVIEW IN GAME: » In Skyrim Launcher choose "Data Files" and make sure that checkbox near PaintingsTest.esp file is selected. » Start the game and load your any save, then type in console: coc WhiterunBreezehome You should be moved to the place where I put all paintings on the walls. REMOVAL: » Delete the same files you copied previously during the installation proccess.
