  1. I did slap a texture from the Dark Brotherhood stained glass window. It looked cool and only crashed the poop out the mod a few times before it took.
  2. Here's the in-game collection, and now I can go learn in peace. http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21097-better-front-shot-of-armor-in-game/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21096-the-shield-fangbreaker-in-game/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21095-back-of-armor-in-game/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21094-full-set-of-eamon39s-armor-in-game/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21093-eamon39s-wisdom-helm-in-game/

    Modified Akaviri Armor

Screen Captures of new texture on Blades armor
  4. I hope I did this properly. This is what I was attempting to do with Blades armor earlier. Decent effect and recipes include alchemical elements to imbue enhancements at the forge, based on ancient Akaviri techniques. Definitely checking out classes to see where I need help. I'm glad I reached out at this stage where I feel I have some good skills but a ways to go overall. Eamon Volbrecht was the Empire's dirty little secret. His knowledge of the Akavir was unmatched; knowledge that contained the truth about the war between Tamriel and Akavir. That's when he became yet another pawn in the games of Daedric Princes. This armor is one of the legacy's the genius left behind from the Third Age. If you see the images, the model is just a random Nord. I haven't customized him yet. http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21092-akaviri-shield/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21091-akaviri-helm/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21090-akaviri-boots/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21089-full-shot-akaviri-armor/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/21088-modified-akaviri-armor-back/
  5. Got the updates. All my subscribed plugins work. My plugin deletes bodies entirely from characters when enabled in-game. I have a new slew of warnings for most armors and armor add ons as well as some body models like naked feet and hands for various races. The message is the same: MASTERFILE ARMA: then selected mesh must have biped slot selected in the editor. What I do know is that I recently used Nifskope and extracted files. Didn't seem to be a problem. Then I tried messing with textures in the root editor for certain items and they disappeared and apparently did not reappear as I thought. I don't know if it can't locate the models anymore or what. I'm nearing the point of scrapping the mod and starting over. It was my first endeavor, and while it's pretty big and has some good things, it had more than a few rough edges. Took forever to do because I was learning on my own through YouTube and the Creation Kit Wiki. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it, but I get a sinking sense that I messed with powers beyond my ability and skill and got burned.
  6. Thanks for the electronic cookie, Hanaisse. I can enjoy it without guilt. To be honest, I don't know what exact file it was. I was trying to change textures on armor add-on models and the global model for a thieves guild variant that I had copied and renamed. The hope was to make the armor look unique without having to learn high level design and spend a lot of time on little things. Then I got a texture error, the file disappeared off the menu and I don't really know how to put it back. So I just closed without saving. It was just the copies I was messing with, or so I thought. But now that you mention it, the armor did just disappear, like the root mesh file (maybe?) for all characters was screwed up. When I returned, the files were back in the proper place, but some of the body stuff was missing. It was just armor without a torso arm model in the curaiss category. I checked some of the original files and they looked okay, but in-game the armor not only didn't appear on characters, but on me as well. I think that what you said initially about CK update problem may be the cause. Of course, logically, that has to get resolved before I do any more tinkering or move forward on what I think I did wrong. Best to wait for the fix on the update (I did get it,) before trying to troubleshoot what may be nothing. Thank you so much for your help. I will definitely be staying around to learn more about this confounded program.
  7. It always happens when you're in trouble... finding a cool site to help. Well, hopefully. I was tinkering with armor models in my plugin and accidentally erased or removed a file. At first, it looked fine in CK. However, all the characters, including my player avatar, formerly armored were in their undies when I tested in-game. After some further tinkering, I managed to get everything visible again except the main trunk of the character. Now it's just invisible whether I have armor on or not. I think it has something to do with the base model, but I can't figure out how to fix it. Help! Thanks in advance, too. Mick
