This is just an introduction.
I'm and Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3 & New Vegas Player (and Mount&Blade and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, but that's not particularly relevent here). Still playing Skyrim at present. A lot. Though uni starts again in a week (stiff upper-lip, don't cry Vako, it's not that bad, no bleeding linguistics this semester, you can make it). My all-time favourite will probably always be Morrowind. Wasn't a big fan of Oblivion, even with overhauls, I think I just could never get into the story, I don't think I ever even finished it. I mod (Morrowind, Skyrim, Fallout3) for myself, simple stuff, houses mostly, trying to make my ideal abode. If I ever do I will propably upload it, if it isn't too messy a file (I am learning how to keep the files simpler, my first attempts had so many necessary mods that they were unfeasable for anyone with a different set-up, I know better know, have learnt to add in new models rather than just use the files they came from, etc) I am always looking for resources for homes, as I'm pretty hopeless with modelling and stuff.
My resource wish list at present for Skyrim (in case anyone more talented than I is bored to death and needs some ideas, otherwise, just ignore): clean wallhangings (single colour, nord ruin and new) and wall tapestries. Toys that fit in with the Skyrim world: wooden viking horses or bear/wolf figures like the ones from Bloodmoon, toy wooden fort and soldiers, toy wooden sword and shield, rag-doll/poppet, that kind of thing. Towels, nice fluffy clean ones, I remember someone made a bathroom mod for Morrowind and it had rolled-up towel statics, just like that. All clutter stuff that makes a house look, well, more home-like, more like people actually live there.
I am determined to learn at least the basics of nav-meshing. I have made a little cottage for my present character that actually works really well (I made him with an alternate beginning mod and am doing no main quest, stormcloak/imperial or major guild quests in this play-through, though I will be doing Bard's college as my inventory is full of their stuff). It's small, simple, so I might have a go with that.
I don't post much. I will ask for help if I just can't figure something out on my own, and I will offer suggestions if I think it really will help a project, but generally I just lurk around in the background, watching for new and exciting mods and handy resources.
um ... thanks for your time reading this rediculous post
