  2. So, first thing first, I set up nifskope quite fine, but I would like to be able to view, edit and export nifs, skeletons and animations. However, the Animation tool doens't appear. Any suggestions, please?

  8. I want to recommend this kickstarter game: Umbra https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1062682568/umbra A CryEngine ARPG which seems to be super unique and showcase a lot of modding potential! It also looks beautiful without being a resource-hog, at least last time I asked. IT is best described as a Skyrim-Diablo saga hybrid. a preview video is here
  9. I am currently in the middle of an "argument" with a developer of a Kickstarter game. Depending on how he reacts, I am going to upload the conversation with or without relevant details to his username and the project his team is working on. In any case, I want the opinion of the community on this, honestly. In my struggle for self-improvement, I want to learn what I am doing wrong. But, at the same time, I will not take crap from complete strangers who, in theory, are NOT Youtube cretins and should know how to behave. Feel free to speak your mind and ask for clarifications, if interested. The cruel truth is, however, the developers here have spoiled me: now I think everyone is as wonderful as they are. This is what made me completely mental. It translates as "dude, we don't need you or your money, we were all sweet before you backed but now we feel entitled to say whatever we want and even to spit your 30 silvers back in your face".

  11. I'm trying to make a perk which should work something similar like this: whenever you inflict damage with a spell (with custom keyword) player is healed of X% max health any idea?
  12. How to make enemies more intelligent in order to make them use all spells available and dual cast them whenever possible?
  13. Oddily, I have a weird bug: now the game appears to be able to play only my custom music. I'm uploading the file here if anyone wants to help. Requires the unofficial patches ATM, but I'm accepting advice on dependencies too. first of all, the new tune's ending does not play. secondly, now whenever I load a savegame, the music which should play only in certain battles fires up, and it's impossible to shut it down. any advice? here's the file http://www.4shared.c..._new_music.html

The game already handles custom boss music, I think, via script attached either to the quest script (in the case of alduin battles) or in the case of scripts attached to aliases (like Miraak, Harkon and, I think, Karstaag). DLC2MQ06, for example, stores this kind of data in the Miraak alias. I'm trying to write a similar script for less "intensive" boss battles which works in a similar way: it assignes a custom music type for that enemy, and resets to the default music handling once the battle is over. can someone help?
  16. what would I have to do if I wanted to import a model responsive to facial animations? like a golem, or a creature?
