  1. Greets to all.. I'm looking for a bit of help for a problem that has been eluding me for a bit. I have rebuilt most the Bethsoft games working from Skyrim to Oblivion to FNV to FO3... a bit backwards I know LoL.... typically I have rebuilt most these games with minimal issues being able to solve most my own problems or with the help of a few ppl I have bounced ideas off of or have shown me a few tricks that allowed me to progress to a final product. ATM my game is crashing about 45mins to 1.5 hours It will randomly crash.. When I open windows task manager it shows my Fallout 3 to be at 1 gig to 1.5gigs of RAM so I do not believe it is a memory issue. Currently I have used the 4gb patcher to flip the LAA flag, the multi-core fix, I have the latest FOSE, and have the current unofficial patch <1.5> I use ENB, and it is set-up correctly. this is my current Load Order: it is not arranged by BOSS, it is arranged by the mod authors suggestions via FWE & FOIP Active Mod Files: My INI file: I appreciate any feedback on this matter. If anyone is experienced with scripting I would be very interested in knowing how to trouble-shoot my game for dirty scripts that may be throwing errors or causing the game to become overloaded. Thank you in advance for your attention and time.
  2. This is Jesail, during my times as a gamer, frequently it is needed to have an entire party of characters that are generated by the player. Jesails primary role is that of an assassian/mage. my first use of her was AD&D: Secret of the Silverblades.
  3. i apologize, just showing that a "cheap" cpu can perform vastly differently when they are designed for it. certainly meant no offense
  4. 4.95GHZ from FX6300... click my sig badge for details... @36c btw.. these chips max is 60c
  5. FX 6300 @ 4.95GHz.. VERIFIED

  6. as a project you might consider tricking out an A-10 APU, they have a radeon 7660 embedded, you could easily make an extreamly powerful lan box for portability?
  7. also not typical of me but i wanted to wave this link around like a bloody scalp for the intel guys with thier 3750's and such http://www.techradar.com/us/reviews/pc-mac/pc-components/processors/amd-fx-6300-1117533/review ill be going for 5.1ghz at some point.
  8. ok so, heres the thing, theres the bulldozer core and piledriver, and they are not the same, thats a bulldozer core and i would not get it, the piledriver is redesigned and runs better and is the new supported architechture. my fx6300 was 139, so for another 20$ you can get a 6core proc its native is 3.5 but turbos to 4.1 again this is a piledriver not a bulldozer, this is the newer vishira chipset. my current rig and specs FX-6300 vishira 3.5ghz/4.1ghz OC'ed to 4.5ghz no turbo ... 139$ MSI-970a-G46 revision 2 ... <rev 1 had vrm issues> ... 69$ MSI-R7850 twin frozr 2 2gig OC'ed 1050@core and 1450@RAM... 209$ G.Skill sniper XMP DDR3 8gigs @ 2250mhz ... 45$ Corsair H-60 for CPU ... 69.99 Antec 300 case w/stock fans ... 54$ 120mm green LED fans 3pak cost ... 11$ thermaltake 750w PSU ... 65$ artic MX4 thermal paste ... 5$ end results are verified in my siggy via cpuz important footnote, when buying mobo get southbridge 950 for max performance of your parts and compatibility aswell as features for everything, in addition 850 and higher southbridge allow AMD cpus to use intel's XMP memory timings... all in all add the hardrive thats a pretty sweet rig for 700$ graphics card can be better for 20$ btw 7850 OC edition and 7870 are slightly better cards @219 and 229 respectively
  9. over-clockin and rockin the new rig!

  10. just rebuilt my system, she's a screamer! =) heres a few links to help out with hardware upgrades graphics cards: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/AMD-ATI-Chips-Comparison-Table/131 Radeon http://www.hardwares...rison-Table/132 <--Nvidia Procs: http://products.amd....desktopcpu.aspx <--AMD http://www.intel.com...?select=desktop <-- Intel Mobo's..... Only real advice I have is to get something with good solid state caps, MIL-spec 2 or better. Power delivery kills gaming rigs, if you buy a cheap mobo and overclock anything, your VRM's also need good cooling. Bad capacitors and hot VRM's destabilize overclocks even when things are operating within specs. Cooling: this is essential, biggest debate is aircooling over water, I say, use both. A good cheap "closed loop" water system does wonders for cooling your proc... and overheating the rest of your internals, unfortunately. I use a Corsair H-60 1st gen, they cost about 70$ many brands have units in that range also. your water system will prolly last you a couple of builds, so get one you like. Next you would want large low RPM fans, 120's, 150's, even 200mm fans are good choices, you would also want to look at the decible rateing, 27.5 Db is a good medium, its going to be quieter at low speed anywayz. fans can be had for 5$ even with leds <woot woot> just be sure to check your decible rating (Db). dont forget thermal paste! best stuff out right now is artic MX4, tube can be had for 8$ Let's face it, having a fast PC is awesome, hearing it fire up and sound like a turbine is great, until about hour 2 comes along and you have a migraine =/ amd, intel, nvidia or ati... keep it cool and quiet and youll be a much happier gamer! <unless there's flying ninja monkey pirates, gotta watch those guys >

  12. "capping" a handle with a pommel or such isnt just for asthetics, its a part of the "tang" it adds strength and durability to blades, most handles are "scales" that are pinned to the tang or molded around it. it does loose some of the "clean-ness" but your work is amazing, so this looks the best in my opinion, but its just that, an opinion. as an artist you do what fits your style and is pleaseing to your own eye. P.S. try making some damascus style blades? this knife with damascus blade and a bone or ivory handle would look supurb
  13. ivory would look nice, so would an onyx handle with "inlays". I like tribal and primative weapons also with my medivel ones, so these would make for good lore replacers or supplments in my game.
