I'm with that, I'm definitely not worried about you hurting it... About the needless stuff; I was following up on your guys' suggestions on how to get the Gecko to work. It still doesn't... How do I send you my mod? I'll do it right away... And what can I do about the game getting stuck? It happens without the mod enabled.

I am now able to take screenshots of my computer screen... Update: Oblivion opens, but when you try to load a game, it gets stuck. It was working fine for a while again.... Also, TES4Gecko is a pain in the ***. I uninstalled then reinstalled oblivion, I also moved the folder out of program files... This is becoming not so fun.

Well, I need some troubleshooting on the npc not following. I tamed him so that he doesn't attack everyone in sight, and I can talk to him (although no voice import yet), but there is a greeting and an option to follow, and I'll tell him "follow", he says ok, then stands there.

I appreciate your time and assistance so far, and I've cooled off a bit. I do understand your point exactly from the paragraph, I am admittedly avoiding doing this at all costs (and couldn't tell you why)... I know it would benefit me greatly. Maybe it's the time involved... Whatever, I'm sure I'll end up doing it- I've followed all your other advice.

...Just updated Java... Now the error message says: "Unable to access jarfile C:\Tmp\TES4Gecko.jar" Would it be easier to get the TES Edit program?

Scratch that last one- I'm a genius... Under race, the editor ID said "ElBorracho", but the name still said Breton, so I edited it to the same as ID... Problem solved! See, I'm not such an inept moron as I seem to be most of the time...

And, for my second issue of the day, I am trying to import voice files (I already know how and did it before I changed my npc's race), but now when you click on the response line, there is nothing, and the reason is that under "race", it still says Breton. I duplicated that race to make my own, and have created the folder for the new race, deleting the old Breton folder and it still does this... What is the solution?

Well, I tried to make the Gecko thing work, and it was a flop- I did what you and the instructions said, but when I try to run it, an error message comes up that says: "Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\javaw.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."

Gee, I had no idea the scale was so small... I guess 40 was a tad high... I'll have more questions tomorrow, of course...

-Scratch that... I learned that when I duplicated the Breton race for my npc, I failed to see that under it's characteristics they have a "problem" with Nords, which is what the tavern owner was (I'm not %100 sure if I'm getting the races correct, but you get the point), so I changed that and now he's fine. I'm trying to import the sound files into the greetings now. Apparently, all that stuff got erased somehow. Thanks for all your help- I appreciate the efforts you have made and will make in the future on my behalf.
