  3. Ok, start. Many of you know that some mods allow the player to delay DB attacks, assuming that the player character isn't so famous and powerful to be a threat to king Helseth. Now i will examine this idea, and using my brain and intelligence, i will make an analisys in the "sirata mustakim" (Middle Road)way. Ask: may the DB Delay attack mods has some reason to exist in a Morrowind game? I will examining the matters logically, and starting to offer the modder view, as he write from one of them, his name Avenger: I found the early Dark Brotherhood attack in Tribunal most irritating and unlogical. How should a freshly arrived Noname pose a threat to the king's throne ? So I changed it so that the Dark Brotherhood attacks only commence after you either lead at least one Great House, or are have been named Nerevarine by at least one Ashlander tribe, or have been named, I figure that by then you've got enough political influence to come to the attention of the king. these are Avenger words: but he has right or not? Following him in the thought, starting to purt some good logical points to these words. a) King Helseth is very notorious as power maniac, killer, and paranoid. This mean that, with his riches, he can have agents spreads everywhere in Tamriel, and ready to inform His Poisonous Majesty of any attempt, true or false, to seize his throne. Ok, he is rich, he is powerful and also paranoid, but this is sufficient to know Tiber Septim's secrets? Follow me, and see this point in detail. We have said theat king Helseth can have a lot of agents everywhere-of course he can, he's very rich, powerful and know many secrets- but the whole operation in every detail is known only by three people: Tiber Septim, his secretary, and Caius Cosades. Now follow me again: a) King Helseth may be a king, but appointed by Tiber Septim: this mean that he depend to the Empire and of course he can't have access at the deepest Imperial Council, nor at the Emperor secretary. His agents sure can stay in Cyrodiil and heard a lot of things, but sure they can't reach to know about a prisoner was taken and jailed without any proof: daily A LOT of people will be arrested for many reasons, and our man its only one in the whole stack. Also a king Helseth agent had observed the scene, sure he will not take note of this because its ordinary city maintenance done hundreds of times in a day, what reason he has to write in his report? b) how much king Helseth know about the Nerevarine, and how much he trust in this far legend? For send DB assassins after a poor prisoner just desembarked in Morrowind, king Helseth was needed to know all the whole legend, the Dissident priests writings, the writes of the Stranger and the entire Tiber Septim plan. Probably Helseth studied something about Nerevar and knew the generic legend as any other Morrowind inhabitant- maybe somewhat better because he is rich then he had the luck to study in his youthness with mentors and scholars, but i think that sure 1000% he not know much about Dissident Priests nor Ashlanders more than the usual common Dunmer, and also if know something about them, not the firsts nor the others are a threat for his throne, but only-using some usual words repetead many times from common people-they are only a bunch or ragged visionaries and fools, nothing to become worried. c) Helseth's agents can't come too far: because he's depend from Tiber Septim, sure our lovely poisoner has a lot of fellow Blades under cover everywhere that fool daily his precious agents and sure they report to the Emperor also if he go to free himself pi--ing in the bathroom hole, then the Emperor have daily and precise report of every Helseth activity: in the opposite front, the Emperor court its more secure than Helseth's, and his spies will not come to reach the private Council, nor the Imperial secretary or Tiber Septim hisself. About Caius, he will start to know about this matter only when the package is given to him, and sure he will not send a telegram to Helseth writing all the matter:) then Helseth he can't really know about all the operation, nor that the new stranger without a drake and in prisoner dirty dresses is the man that will save all Vvardenfell from a hidden evil. MY CONCLUSIONS Having examined all the matter using logic and intelligence, and having saw all hot points to take a decisive word about this matter, i will consider Good Game the insert of a DB Delay Attack mod into a player game. Hope to have also your opinions and asks, and i will try to reply at my best.
  4. Hi Folks, here an interesting matter to discuss: DB delayed attack mod and the other mods that cover this area has a reason to be used or not? I will discuss this matter soon, for now let i start the first post, and in the following post i will explain better my thought.
  5. may Allah will protect the life of this lady and his son as well, giving them safety.
  6. slow but active

  7. i have put my choice, IC give more nice objects, but Tribunal isn't bad at all, then i will do something also for them, like the 7 Graces pilgrimage.
  8. i want know what is your choice on this matter, and hope to haven't forgot any in the poll. Good replies to alls!
  9. I'm coming back to Morrowind, in a new incredible way. A Nord. As class,Sorcerer. Yes, Sorcerer. A big, tall, blondhaired and tattooed Sorcerer. Despite my usual character is a Breton Pilgrim, and in the end of my previous games i tried also Breton Sorcerer, this time i want a more imposing character, healthy and magical, a new one that must clash with the usual choices. For the Birthsign, i have had used mainly the Lady, because is a sign of Azura's will, but i will think much, and i will try to use the Lord instead. Powerful birthsign, and i think will be good in the time, despite their Fire weakness, and not all enemies use Fireballsbut this give me a very healthy character and good chances for survival and fight, when needed. What a Nord have to do with Dunmer and Morrowind itself? Nords are ancient enemies, they fought against Nerevar at Red Mountain, they was invaders. And again, what a Nord have to do with magicka? Seem nothing, but here's a reply: as in every cultures, also Nords have their "black sheeps" people that not want follow ancient trails, that feel bad with their own attitudes, that want more than a sword in hand and an armor. They are the people that see longer than others, that make the difference, and it's a BIG difference. My Nord will be one of them, a man that choosed to be outcast from his own family, his clan, but mix the tradition with a new way to live, and become someone. And i will think that my big blondhaired Sorcerer will become greater than many other Nords, maybe of all Nords.
  10. ty Insanity, i will go there. And, as i shouted over, if you reach to find some Shadow and Light series screen, or know where they are, please tell me. I'm very disppointed to not have any of them, i have seeked for them and nothing appeared.
  11. now its time to re-install my Morrowind, and i started to hunt some good mod. But i have a problem: i want make my game fair and simple, without hundreds of them. I have studied a lot about this matter, and i have found some conclusion. The real needs for a fair game are: -a general graphic for the world and most of the objects; -graphical better bodies, armours, weapons and spells; - some good rules for play better; -some slightly graphic & voice adjustment to important Npc's (Almalexia, Dagoth ur, etc.); -some people more for have a world more populated (MCA is good) now i want know if you can help to find good mods for some of these parts: i will start a first list, then if you know something better please tell me. Your help will be unvaluable, really.
  12. i think that, if you want a Nerevarine character, choose the class that resemble most the real you. In my previous games i did the Pilgrimas a religious one i am, the class is very good, and have also as attributes something that resemble the real me: Personality (i know to be somewhat charismatic and i like to talk with people and practice religion) and Endurance (i'm a bit large real, more or less 100 kg. then i have a good health and recover from wounds), also my name is taken from a Sahaba (Prophet Mohamed companion) that was a fine archer, and i like much and also i have practiced in the past real archery, then the Pilgrim fit me well, half naive, and half cunning. Another class i favor now is the Sorcerer: intelligent, and healthy, with powerful magical powers, feared and respected in the world. Different from a Battlemage, they come from Imperial War Academy, while Sorcerers are more like mages, they have studied privately. Also, Sorcerers know how use bows:) and i think that a Sorcerer Nerevarine will be a good one in this role, able to defend his people from any menace, powerful the right, and somewhat intimist, prefering stay in their lair and appear few times around: he don't seek for fame, but seek for understand the magical laws of the world. There is some examples taken from the real myself, now i hope you do the same for yourself. Good hunt.
  13. I have everytime thought at an alternative character. Someone that isn't the usual Breton-Pilgrim-Lady that i do usually. Someone different, but with a connection to this world that i love deeply, to the prophesy of the Nerevarine coming.... Someone that seem clash itself, but has a reason to be as he is. My thoughts point now to a Nord: what is a race far of the Dunmer culture than a Nord. Enemies, they fought against Nerevar and the Tribunal, allied to Dwemer. Big blondhaired brutes painted in the face, warriors and proud to be. Warriors? Who say that a Nord MUST follow his elders trail at all costs? Sure his doctor hasn't ordered this at him as a cure. And then? And, in the real Northern culture, there was Skalds (Bard) Runecaster, Witches (Mage), and in the time when Christianity reached the iced lands of Scandinavia, also Priests, Monks, Bishops, many of them were also warriors, fighting pagans and bring the holy words everywhere (Crusader, Pilgrim, Healer) May a big blondhaired Nord babble arcane words casting powerful spells? Or do good in Alchemy, and dress a robe instead big heavy armors? Or use Staves instead of Swords, and have a nice appearance, instead the usual long-hair-and-beard-under-a-cruel-scarred-face? I think this will be possible. Not all Nord resemble Odin. Another chance. Orcs. Green, though, and brutal. Loyal to the Legion, and first line warriors, feared by alls, hard in battle and proud to be in the Legion ranks. The military life suit them perfectly. ALL Orcs are like this image? All in imperial chain, ordnance weapons and imperial shield? Orcs have also Shamans in their ranks (Mages) and they like tell their adventures and feats when they are near a campfire (Bards) And a tip for many: Orcs aren't ignorant fools. They have a their own culture, they can read and write, they build palaces and cities. An Orc Mage? or Bard, or Pilgrim? Why not. And, to be a real terrorist: an Orc Healer? Yes, why not. Many Orcs know what is the price of war, and have seen their companions wounded or dead: some of them can became pacifist, and like heal instead to crush. But an orc is an Orc, and a Nord its a Nord: also if they have choosen different paths in respect to their ancients and brethren this NOT mean that they are easy targets for preying bandits or hungry monsters. If you, the player, choose an alternative race, remember these words: also an Orc healer will bash hard their enemies if attacked, and their fists are harder than usual members of the chosen class. Heh heh, surprise....enemies of the alternative characters may end more or less like pirates depèicted in Asterix comics-bashed hard. Very hard. About the sign: ok, the Lady mean the goddess Azura, and has nice benefits, but the other signs? Personally i like also the Apprentice, the Tower, and in the last trials i have found a pleasure using the Lord. And you? Have tried some alternative character? Have some ideas about some character out of the usual schemes that you think suited for become the Nerevarine? Tell here your experiences, i'm curious to read your attempts.
  14. Hmm. Nice ask, but i want try to change the subject. What is the things that i want do and i haven't done again in Morrowind? With a character that will become Nerevarine: -Explore fully the land, covering all the map; -Explore every cavern, tomb and shrine; -Become a better Alchemist than i was in the past, and create magical objects; -Become the leader of Mages, replacing this stupid imperial. Mages has need of a great leader, not a weak bald-haired imperial idiot; -Jouney here and there, hunting monsters for alchemical materials; -Do the quest given from a Nord in Vivec, telling to a treasure of an ancient Nord king. with other characters: -i have to think again....(ideas in construction, please wait.............................................................................)

mmm, i read, and reply: No, no.... i have a different idea. I dont want make a mod with various mods. Not at all. I want create a list of mods that give a starting better view of Morrowind, with pics and instructions, a basis for the newcomer, after this, everyone can adjoin all he/she want. The list will help the player to have a complete, nice and functional basic Morrowind, then, after this list, the player can adjoin what he/she want, but at his/her own risk. Example: in the file will be written: "the best graphic and sound are A and B, for homes use C, D, and E, for weapons and spells use F, G, H, for the adjustments use X, Y and Z. Until here all must run perfectly, and you can play without any risk, having a better Morrowind." This file must have also pics taken from the game, showing how will appear Morrowind using these mods, and after the main file, a new write that say "you may adjoin other mods, but this is the best and functional, others will be put at your own risk." this is my idea. Players must install and put all in the usual way, alone: i will not provide mods for them.
