I'm obsessed with the idea of making my own game engine. I understand that it's going to take a lot of time and learning but it would feel so good to make something from scratch instead of using something that was made by others!
How proud of myself I would be if I managed to do that!

You must pay to buy the game and then, if you want to play it single, you must pay every month. I understand that maintaining servers has a cost but it certainly doesn't justify what they ask for this "privilege". It's extortion, plain and simple.
The worst is that people don't bother, they pay, so why would Bethesda bother either? It's disgusting but it's what our world has become, full of silly people who are abused and love it.
I know how to feel about Fallout 1st.

It's not so much the change in the forums than in the change in "spirit". Bethesda has become a monster; it's no longer adapted to people, their products are cut for anonymous "players", preferably rich and not too demanding. Very sad.
I haven't been there the whole week for now. I'm pretty sure nobody misses me either!
