  2. Lakeside House by Vesna (aka VesnaBrucoms, Brucoms) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for downloading Version: 1.1 =========== Downloads =========== Steam Workshop TES Nexus TES Alliance =========== Description =========== Lakeside House is a modest house that sits on the southern shore of Lake Ilianalta (upstream from Riverwood). Inside you will find all of the standard crafting stations (the smithing is in the basement), several weapon racks and plaques around the house, and four mannequins in the bedroom. Though before you can enter you must find the key to the front door, but don't worry it's in a sack tucked away between the rocks by the shore. Have fun! ============ Installation ============ To install, just extract into the Skyrim/Data directory. Then start Skyrim, and on the launcher go into Data Files, and make sure your choice is checked to activate. To uninstall, start Skyrim, go into Data Files, and uncheck the plug-in.Then delete the Lakeside House.esp file in the Skyrim/Data directory. =============== Incompatibility =============== I will list any here once I know of them. Please contact me if you find any incompatibilities. ==================== Known Issues or Bugs ==================== Mannequins may go walkies - I have found no solution to this, if the mannequins have changed their pose, just exit the house and then re-enter. Or just activate them. ======= History ======= 1.1 - The version I should have uploaded in the first place. Contains a wood chopping area just outside. 1.0 - Initial Realease ======= Contact ======= You can find me on the official Elder Scrolls forums as 'brucoms' You can find me on TESNexus as 'VesnaBrucoms' You can find me on TESAlliance as 'Brucoms' Or you can find me on Steam as 'Vesna' ======= Credits ======= Thanks to Bethesda Softworks for creating Skyrim and the wonderful Creation Kit, and the wiki. Thanks to TESNexus.com for the a one-stop-shop resource for authors and players. Thanks to LHammonds for the Readme Generator this file was based on. =============== Licensing/Legal =============== You can do whatever you want to this mod, but please credit me as the original author and contact me.
  3. That is, indeed, very possible, however it is illegal to import Bethesda's art assets. They can do it because they own the rights, but we don't, we can simply modify one game with what we are given or with what we make ourselves.
  4. Instanced game areas offer a great potential to introduce drastically different enviroments for the player to explore, and I think that is why a good proportion (if not all) players would rather have instanced game areas. However, to get these areas to their full potential we need many, many new art assets due to the fact that Skyim is quite limited (especially so when compared with the previous two games). I have played about 58 hours of Skyrim so far, but I've barely scratched the surface, and so far I have seen a grand total of one deadra (and two Princes). Understandably there are fewer of them in this game due to the fact that in Oblivion they were invading, but I feel that they've taken too much of a back-seat. Then again I haven't played that much, so I should probably hold off that observation for a little while longer. @heroesneverdie: Fantastic read, and quite thought provoking.
  5. Thank you!

  9. Hi I'm brucoms! I love to mod, but I never seem to get any mods actually finished! I do actually play games, but I hardly ever get a chance because I'm always struck by a mod idea...
