  1. Hello, and hooray for voice actors!

    hihi

    Welcome, dillan!
  3. I figured it'd be something like that. Blast, I don't have much experience with this sort of thing outside NifSkope and Doga.
  4. Yes, I did pick out the NiTriShape branch - I did something similar before with the Giant Club where I resized it and tweaked its position so that it would be normal size and held normally by a humanoid. For whatever reason, though, the necklace isn't playing along.
  5. I've got an annoying little problem - I'm trying to edit a mesh for the Bone Hawk Amulet from Dawnguard to sit up a little higher on the character than it does normally - currently most of the amulet is clipping through the armor mesh so only the skull is visible. The only problem is I can't find for the life of me which setting changes its height - logically it's the Z-axis, because when I open the mesh in Nifskope and tweak a Z-axis connected to the mesh's shape, it pops up higher; but when I look at it in-game it remains in its usual place. Is there something I'm missing?
  6. Well, that's exactly the sort of thing I was hoping to find out about! Granted, in the meantime I did have a moment of clear and hacked out a couple good dialog trees within the 80 character-per-line limit all the same, but this will be good to know in the future.
  7. I'm currently working on a stand-alone follower for Skyrim, using existing vanilla sources to patch together a quest that will turn the NPC into a follower. I managed to hash out a series of dialogue trees, but I'm running into a problem - the CK limits the player's dialog prompts to a very slim 80 characters, which makes working with an already hampered dialogue tree even more difficult. What methods could I use to circumvent the 80 character limit? If you've made dialogue trees for quests before, what methods did you use to deal with the 80-character limit on player dialogue prompts?
  8. Thanks, Carah, Bess and Silver! Busy day today, as I officially launched on Skyrim Nexus. Hopefully once the initial frenzy of activity dies down I'll be able to get back to Skyrim and working on my next mod, which will be a compilation of my existing follower mods plus news ones, which will be the "companion" mod to FCO.
  9. Thanks everyone! Sounds like! The most I ever did with working at level design was making Navmeshes for Fallout 3 house mods back in the day. I was just as much a follower junkie back then as I am now and I couldn't abide a house my minions couldn't walk around in.
  10. Are you familiar with the PC Part Picker website? It allows you to throw together parts into 'virtual' configurations and will highlight any issues or concerns you may come across with your build - this was invaluable to me when I was assembling my current desktop back in October 2012.
  11. Terzaerian (TER-zare-ian) One of the many pseudonyms for characters I've made up over the years that I liked so much I adopted it for general use; this one serves as my general gaming handle and you can find me using it on Steam, the Nexus sites, Planet Minecraft, and more.
  12. Hey there The Elder Scrolls Alliance forums! Glad to join up with this outfit, I've heard it recommend on other forums as well as the Elder Scrolls off the Record podcast and decided to join up! I also live over on the Nexus but I've been looking to expand through other channels as well, and TESA looked to be the best of the bunch. My specialty is followers and NPCs, and I've achieved some small success with my Heimskr, Anska, and Nazeem remixes which turn the three of them into fully functional followers for vanilla as well as other popular follower mods like EFF, AFT, and UFO. As my TESA debut, I am uploading my next big project, Follower Commentary Overhaul, here a day ahead of the Nexus, and I hope in the coming days that I will be able to bring over more of my work as well.
  13. Greetings TES Alliance! Pleased to join you all.
