  1. AIO systems are relatively low maintinance. They dont really build up dust that quickly, but their initial cost is a bit higher, and they can be a bit more difficult to install.
  2. A few days late, but happy... 15 years... holy hell I am old now...

  3. Ah yes, that bridge. Remember to get the skyshard down by the first pylon.
  4. I got 655.58 with my secondary computer. i5 4690K @3.5GHz, 16GB of RAM, and a GTX 970 graphics card. Now I wonder how my main computer will do...
  5. 8 more months and I will have been registered here for 8 years... I was 18 when I first joined. How time flies.

Indeed HY, indeed. Come the end of May, it`ll be 7 years for me. That would put me rather late to the party at 52. :lmao:

I think I am member number 2 here.... Right behind DR. :) But, this is the second iteration of the forums. We were 'elsewhere' for a while before even these forums.

  6. It's not every day that things happen. Only some of the time.

  7. Fallout 4, people! Fallout flipping 4!

Yeah, I saw the trailer for that. Looks pretty good. The animations sure are a lot better.

Indeed! I think there's still a lot of room for improvement though, especially with the dog.

Thinking I'll pick up FO4 myself (and perhaps dive into mods for it, 'specially sounds

      :P)

  8. This was one of my first thoughts. You thought people stealing mods was bad before, this will only escalate that. Someone will buy it then just upload the mod somewhere else.
  9. Think of it as you are paving the way into previously unknown areas of medical science! You are modern day explorer! Best of luck and I hope you recover, or at the very least, are able to regain control and live a normal life.
  10. The bulk of my modding exposure came from the Oblivion era. I grew to think of modding as a hobby, and trying to get money for a mod was taboo. When my modding scope branched out to Minecraft, I was basically struck by a sledge hammer at how rampit "adfly" links were used for texture packs and whatnot. It sickened me. Whenever I had the chance, I would make a comment about how the TES modding community basically shunned monetization of mods. If this is truly how Bethesda feels about their modding community, then I will sadly have to turn away from them. The news is young, so I will wait to see how things progress and what, if anything, Bethesda has to say after seeing the initial public reaction. Dark times are upon us. I hope they don't last long.
  11. Looks like that is a split in the mesh. You need to have the verts merged to allow for the shading to blend properly. Skyrim, or Bethesda games in general, are among the easiest to mod, especially considering that you can literally scrap the entire game and make your own from scratch. How many other games let you do that?

Holy hell, all I did was say he had no pants... I was referencing this: http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/f2/5b/a7/f25ba7a0de95a0e72db8e2e74e666c98.jpg
  13. Life sucks. Neglecting life sucks even more.

The parts of life that suck help you to appreciate the parts that don't. Don't worry mate, whatever is sucking right now, wont last.

What? Did you join the Navy?

      Life certainly has its moments.....

  14. Might give Recuva a try. From the makers of CCleaner. I've not used it personally, so I can't attest to its effectiveness. http://www.piriform.com/recuva/download
  15. Meets, greets, and a bottle of sweets! (Does that even rhyme? I duno.) Haters gunna hate, but I think if you release things here on TESA, then you won't have to worry too much about overly negative comments. Only thing you have to worry about is constructive criticism aimed at improving your skills. The staff here are always friendly, from personal experience as an ex-staff member, so if anyone is being overly rude and... well, unpleasant, they will take care of them. Enjoy your time here. It really is a great place.
  16. That looks familiar, but cant remember where I saw it from. Looks like an interesting tool.
  17. I remember there being something about being able to "draw" a line in which navmesh past that point is not "active", that way NPCs don't see, so wont even use it, so no funky walking into wall miss-haps. Cant remember what it is, but I know it exists.
  18. All you need to do is plug it in. It should already be formatted. Because it is considered by the OS to be removable media, it will assign a temporary drive letter to it in the same manner as a flash drive.
  19. For those that didn't know, part of the reason for my absence was due to having a baby girl. Thought Id share some pictures with you all. http://i.imgur.com/5X13O0i.jpg http://i.imgur.com/u7cN0Ol.jpg http://i.imgur.com/gV0JVSn.jpg
  20. The launcher music is a wav file in the Oblivion folder, NOT the Data folder.
  21. You can also rename an existing save file just by renaming the file itself.
  22. Basically it boils down to the low gravity helping with water retention in the soil, meaning less water needed to grow crops. An adapted atmosphere is needed, so green-houses will need to be set up, but they don't have to mimic earth perfectly in order to work just as well. http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2010/08/mars-farming/#ixzz0wynVo8s2 http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0273117710004849
  23. IIRC, the alpha channel also determines the level of "shiny" an texture has. Full white is dull and flat, black is bright and shiny, or was it the other way around? Basically the textures that don't seem to need it use it to done down the shine due to directional lighting "reflecting" off it. In the case of stones and grass, they don't want much shine.
