Hey there everyone! Not alot to say, was looking for a method to add skills to Oblivion, saw a Daggerfall project already in the making, looked over some other bits and pieces and thought I'd join up. So here I am! Not really a forumite... or whateveritis, but look forward to meeting you guys here and there.
I'm a big fan of RPG's... replaying daggerfall, the M&M and Ultima series atm, in between school, training and plain ol' veggin out in front of whatever movie Media Player shuffles to. That's what drew me here... how I can't believe Bethesda haven't re-released the game, with all it's gameplay and (streamlined) ui but with Oblivion graphics... and then just add expansions that add extra continents, "main" quests, etc. until eventually they have the entire world in one massive game... and then make that an MMORPG haha. I think that'd be just lovely But yeah since they haven't was thinking about changing Oblivion to Daggerfall, and thought this might be a good place to start looking.
Not really done alot of mods, and never released to the community... did an oblivion creature mod that changed the creature levelling to location rather than player level (so that wolf outside the gates would be a wolf when you got to it at lvl 25) after I enjoyed my morrowind version. Working on changing the daedra numbers dependant on the amount of oblivion gates that are open but that might just have to change to time... a postal service mod that delivered items from any office you visited to a house of your choosing (via postman/horse) a couple hideout mods for Morrowind, recently just added a couple cheats to Fallout 3 that added a bookbinder (to restore all those burned and ruined books) with a level cap raise. All nice simple stuff but the postal was a nice learning experience.
Loved the idea of the Voice Actors Guild thing, look forward to looking deeper into that, and the site's structured nicely so yeah... again, Here I am haha. Anyway that's a bit about me, catch yas!
