  1. Hehee I thought RST was the slang..
  2. Hi all I haven't played Blades myself, but I was just wondering.. Is anyone playing it and noticing similarities between this and RST? The obvious is: 1 - You are with the Blades faction. 2 - You are rebuilding a settlement. I have a theory in my mind that Bethesda ripped off RST heh
  3. Okay thanks! Of course a beefy PC is most important, but at the same time I might choose Windows XP for nostalgia reasons... Wouldn't you think theres a chance there will be issues having Windows XP run on modern quality hardware...? Thanks for the link to the thread. (About the original topic: When I have swept through all oblivion mod sites; nexus, AFK, dark creations, etc. then I will post my findings in a new thread on this site. It will be a long while until that happens though )
  4. Thanks so much Leonardo and Ladyonthemoon. I will definitely use this information to get the motherload of gold and gems! By no means am I a veteran of Oblivion modding. It's cool that you can show me the good places, saves me a lot of time... I am very happy about this! By the way... What version of windows would you say gives me the most stable Oblivion game? - With mods installed that is! Windows XP or Windows 7 or? Cheers, Rolf
  5. Hi folks of TES alliance As I don't have a new PC yet, I spend my spare hours skimming through the Nexus looking for great mods! But, apart from the Nexus, which sites should I search for quality mods? I am interested in all kinds of mods, so yeah, where do they dwell? Thanks and Regards, Rolf - Edit: Oblivion only btw!
  6. So there will be more than one Witanlore, great! I will check it out in due time! Best of luck with the alpha testing, and thanks for the replies thus far
  7. Hi DarkRider! That's good to hear, it seems you have thought of everything! I appreciate your work.. I am in the process of planning out my modded oblivion game. I am a mac man, so no gaming yet. Only planning and a lot of stupid questions until I get myself a PC! How is Witanlore coming along? Do you plan on revisiting RST/Oblivion at one point?
  8. Hi again I have been googling "Better Cities and Reclaiming Sancre Tor Compatibility" and there definitely is talk of this. But I haven't been able to find explicit proof of compatibility/patches between the two mods. Also, on the BC compatibility page RST isn't mentioned! I really hope they can be played together! Is there someone who can tell me the situation on this? Thanks, Rolf
  9. OP creatures isn't a big deal if it's only a few places, I will find a way! You are probably right that it will work just fine. Thanks!
  10. Hi ! I must say that, to me, RST looks like the most well crafted quest mod there is, certainly for Oblivion and maybe for all of TES (I am not exaggerating). The trailer for example, it leaves me very impressed, and thrilled! Well I haven't actually played the mod so I wouldn't know But I really want to after slurping up all the info and pics I could find. I have a question: I plan to play with TIE, and in the description of this mod the author writes: "Non Leveled Loot, Items, Creatures, and NPCs: This means exactly what it says. No more leveled anything anywhere in the game. In your first ten minutes, you can find Daedric armor as well as a cool sword - just as you can wander for ages and not find anything of great value." And in the RST F.A.Q.: "It’s recommended that you be at least level 12-15 before attempting RST’s Main Quest. That is the average level for players who start with finishing the vanilla Main Quest before anything else." As I am a newbie to modding Oblivion I would like to know some opinions on how my experience playing RST with TIE installed might be, difficulty wise. And will it even be compatible? Thanks a whole lot! Rolf
