  1. Hey, DarkRider, . . .

If you have a few minutes to answer a question, that'd be great.  But, if not, no worries.

Awhile back, I found something in the TES Alliance site, and it was a real help for me.  I logged on this morning hoping I'd find that something again, but no joy.

I was looking at a set of classes that I think the Alliance offered to new modders.  The classes were billed as being for beginners, but there was some real meat in them.  The landscaping info was terrific.  This morning, I thought I'd find the classes somewhere in the Tutorials section.  But no.  I did find the Awards page for the Modding School Enclave, and the classes I liked must have been part of the Modding School.

Is there a way I can see those classes now?  And . . . if anybody at the Alliance ever thought about offering the classes again, I'd be the first to sign up.  :)

    Thanks for reading.

PS:  I wanted to look at your TESA Skyrim Resource Kit Project, but when I clicked on the "find out" and "list of resources" links, I was told that I wasn't OK'd to see them.  (I've been a sleepy member of the TESA for maybe 3 years, so I thought I could look.)

Classes are in the fourms. You can find them here.

@HeyYou: Thank you very much for your reply.  Don't know how I missed the old class postings.  :peek:

Seeing that you're an Admin, can you offer anything about the possibility of future classes?  Given how long it's been since the last round of classes, I'm guessing that nobody has the time to teach them anymore.  Which is really too bad.

I fantasize about real-time classes or help sessions being done via something like Skype.  There'd be a lead guy or two who'd actually do the helping.  With maybe another 4 guys sorting through the questions to pick the best ones for that session.  (The questions would obviously have to be submitted on a different Skype channel or maybe in advance.)  And with another 2 or 3 guys on hand to do quick graphic work requested by the lead guy to illustrate his or her points.  I'm not sure exactly why, but I'd find this sort of thing 100x more appealing and useful than the usual Help Sites.  I'd probably log in to the class to listen even when it was about something I wasn't needing to know anytime soon.  Maybe it'd be like one of those old shows like This Old House.

OK, I'll get off the board!

Darkrider is still following the classes, though I don't know if there are any more in the pipe. I believe that the skyrim SE CK is sufficiently different to merit its own class..... after looking at the FO4 CK. (which should be very close.... just different assets available.) I have no idea what the future holds for TESA.....
