I already tried that. Uninstalled and then deleted all NifSkope files... no luck. However when I did a search on my system to see where that dll is also used it came up as part of my Nvidia card which did an update yesterday.. the same day my NifSkope started crashing. I have a sneaking suspicion that Nvidia may be responsible. Is that a possibility?

I am not sure where to ask this so I thought I would try here. My NifSkope has started crashing every time I try to change the texture path on a mesh. I get to the folder where the texture is located. click on it and NifSkope crashes. I've used NifSkope for years now and have never had this problem so I'm guessing that I accidentally changed something but I have no idea what. This is a very simple mod, nothing new, nothing fancy. I decided to play a non armor wearing mage and since I use Frostfall I needed a set of warm clothing for her. I have a couple of sets of pretty mage clothing but they seemed very inadequate when my character was in the far north and standing in a blizzard. Since I couldn't find anything that looked warm enough, I took the Skaal armor and removed the armor stats and armor keywords and turned it into clothing. I decided to share this in case there were any other freezing mages out there. ;-) The set includes the coat, gloves, boots and hat and they can be found in a knapsack at the Skyforge in Whiterun. If you use Frostfall you will need to use 'Inspect Equipment' to set the clothing to the desired exposure protection. Frostfall does not recognize it automatically. This mod requires the DLC Dragonborn and the latest version of Skyrim. It does NOT require Frostfall. Install with NMM or if you prefer a manual install just drop FurLinedClothes.esp into Skyrim/data and activate. To uninstall use the NMM or delete FurLinedClothes.esp. There are no files or scripts attached to this mod. Cleaned with TES5Edit 3_0_30 -
heh.. that is the light control panel for the main floor of one of my house mods, The Moors. I had been looking at a lot of Steampunk stuff when I built that house and that influenced how the house looked. I was checking out the outfit that my character is wearing and I thought it was a good backdrop for it since the outfit was Steampunk influenced as well. -

Essie without the bug eyes, just as she looks ingame. -
She is actually wearing the Dwemer Goggles. That is the first time I looked at her face with the goggles on while wearing that hood... I almost spit my coffee all over my screen. but they are great for lighting dark places. They also have a detect life setting and something else that I can't remember. -

I used NifSkope to remove the window part of the interior mesh which left me with an opening. Then I dressed it up with shutters and built a fake exterior. Added a few birds, insects, and some bird and insect sounds to complete the illusion of open windows. I used that trick, but on a much smaller scale, in my Limbwood Manor mod for Skyrim.
