  1. TES Alliance is a non-profit website for the use and enjoyment of Bethesda Softworks fans, modders, and players. As such, she is supported solely by the site's owner, DarkRider, donations from her generous supporters, and the steady income from Premium memberships. As our community grows, so does the financial responsibility of maintaining her. We would like to increase our server as needed with the increases in traffic and to always have the funding available to keep the site running at full capacity without ads. The most reliable way to do this is through paid memberships and subscriptions. Many of the Alliance's features will remain open to general users, but there are some definite perks to purchasing a premium membership. There are several types of Premium Membership available on TESA, The two primary types are VIP memberships and Subscriptions, but what's the difference? VIP Membership: VIP Members are our Senior Allies, they have the same privileges as free users but with some extended perks including special ranking, extra daily rep points, more albums, extra storage, etc. A VIP Membership has a one time fee in exchange for Senior Allies privileges for a predetermined time period (For example $5.95 for a 1-Month Membership) when it expires, privileges return to free user status unless another VIP Membership is purchased. Subscription: Subscribers are our Patrons, they have the same privileges as free users and Senior Allies, but with some further extended perks including special ranking, uncapped downloading, unlimited storage, self moderation, etc. A Subscription has a recurring monthly fee in exchange for advanced privileges for an undetermined time period (For example $5.95 per Month for a Level 1 Subscription) which never expires. User may cancel their subscription at anytime and return to free user status unless another premium membership is purchased. VIP Membership Perks Overview: Advanced Photo Galleries- Senior Allies have larger galleries, more storage space, and the ability to make up to 3 albums. They can send e-cards, edit/move/delete images, and rate images. Their photo Albums are hosted in the Senior Allegiance Gallery. Hosted Blogs- Senior Allies can create and publish a blog of their own. They can use a blog to share their personal thoughts or as a workspace for a project blog to post images and info on their current projects. Friends can be granted permission to edit the blog or add to it. Flex Ratings- Senior Allies have full rating power over threads, images and downloads. In some places they can even amend their votes. Ad Free- Subscribers will never see an ad on TES Alliance. Unique Forum Medals- Senior Allies have a whole new series of forum medals to earn and display proudly. These are unique from the regular forum medals and are earned by making full use of your V.I.P. privileges. V.I.P. Ranking- Senior Allies have a unique rank and a special class image in their user pane much like those of staff members. Their user ID appears in Royal Blue across the forums. Subscription Perks Overview: Advanced Photo Galleries- Subscribers have the largest galleries, unlimited storage space, and the ability to make an unlimited number of albums. They can send e-cards, edit/move/delete images, host videos, and rate images. Their photo Albums are hosted in the exclusive Patron Gallery. Hosted Project Forums- Subscribers can request a hosted subforum (private/or public) for their current projects, with permissions and themes customized for their needs so the forums can be viewable by the public but not posted in, or invisible to everyone outside their team altogether! Hosted Blogs- Subscribers can create and publish multiple blogs of their own. They can use a blog to share their personal thoughts or as a workspace for a project blog to post images and info on their current projects. Team members can be granted permission to edit the blog or add to it. Ratings- have full rating power over threads, images and downloads. In some places they can even amend their votes. Ad Free- Subscribers will never see an ad on TES Alliance. Self Moderated- Top level subscribers have the greatest level of freedom on TESA, able to hide.un-hide their topics at will, remove the Edited By forum legend, even edit their shouts in the shoutbox. Unique Forum Medals- Subscribers have a whole new series of forum medals to earn and display proudly. These are unique from the regular forum medals and are earned by making full use of your V.I.P. privileges. Patron Ranking- Subscribers have a unique rank and a special class image in their user pane much like those of staff members. Their user ID appears in Goldenrod across the forums. *Level I or Level II Subscriptions?: In general Level II Subscribers have the greatest level of user control, storage, and self moderation power (including profile customization), even more so than Level I subscribers. Compare Memberships At-A-Glance *This graphic outlines the basic differences in packages, there are many more privileges for premium members not represented. Additional Paid Membership Options Ad-Free: Ad-Free users pay a small fee to help keep TESA Ad-Free. Their membership is the easiest way to support the Alliance and ensures they will never see an ad on site ever. This subscription recurs for a small monthly fee until canceled by the member. Cap-Free: Like ad-free, cap-free users help to keep TESA ad-free and will never see an ad on site. Their membership also removes download caps to ensure the highest download speeds on TESA content hands down. This subscription recurs for a small monthly fee until canceled by the member.
