I know the image is a bit off (depending on Screen Set-Up) but that's the way my son made it...and being a gift to honor my dad, I won't be changing the image. I trust everyone will at least respect how near-n-dear to my heart this mod is and therefore doesn't feel the need to use the image or song without speaking to me personally first... Here's the page Description as well (found on BethNet): For Father's Day, I honor my Dad with this Menu Replacer : Image: Created by my youngest using a Wallpaper Creation Program (will post details soon on the Program) Song: "Jack The Ripper" - a Cover by 'The One Way Streets' in 1967 (and becoming INCREASINGLY popular - even previously covered a few years back by 'The White Stripes'; live during one of their concerts) which remains one of 3 of my father's [band] hit songs from that year. This mod (since it's very near-n-dear to my heart in 2 ways) is an Xbox/TESA Exclusive. But, no need to fret my funky-friends! I'll be releasing a few more "PunkN Style" Menu Replacers soon!
  2. I have solved a couple of problems concerning Radio and music sound disappearing/stuttering and the Active Movie Window Pop Up Crash; This main post will be re-written soon with more links and easier to follow instructions. I know that there are threads over at Steam, Bethesda and the Nexus concerning this but I believe this thread will be fully complete. All I have done here is united several different posts that suggested possible solutions (posted different members at said forums) and unite them into one coherent explanation after I tested all the plausible solutions. I have suffered from these problems on two separate installs on different gaming rigs over the years using different video cards and overall PC capabilities. So I really understand the frustration regarding these issues Recently I suffered a complete radio loss and it put me over the edge. I always knew that it was a codec issue but I never found a post with a complete solution. In my FO3 game I could not listen to the radio with out getting the Active Movie Window Pop Up Crash a few minutes later. So I just never turned it on and I was good to play. Recently all my radio stations disappeared but I didn't really care because I couldn't listen to them anyway. However a week later I then started to get random Active Movie Window Pop Up Crashes with the radio off. OMFG It drove me nuts for a few days and that was it. I decided to finally get off my butt and solve it. So here goes nothing I believe that radio stuttering and no sound coming from the radio and the active movie window pop up crash are all related to installed codecs from existing programs interfering with FO3. As most of you may you already know this tool InstalledCodec can deactivate any codec but you have to do this blindly HOWEVER... You can determine exactly which codec may be causing the problem by using http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ (freeware). Install it, load a MP3 file, render it with the MS A/V buttons at the bottom of the window. Button 1 will display what codec is being used - the middle item. Button 2 will play the file, if you can hear it play then the codec is working. If you can't hear the file play then you may have found the problem, the middle item in the list at the bottom of the window is the codec that is in use. You can use the "InstalledCodec" application to disable that codec, then reload the codecs in GSpot and try again until you find the codec that may be the problem. I have had no problem for 2 weeks now and it has also improved the games overall performance Case in point; 3 hour gaming session listening to GNR and only 1 crash that was unrelated to the Active Movie Window pop up crash AND my game is also noticeably smoother <(¤_-)>.¸¸.•´¯`* CHEERS*`¯´•.¸¸.¤*
  3. LOL, sorry for being a bother, but i'm completely stuck, i've looked it up, but I cant seem to find a tutorial on making music mods for Skyrim. (That replace Skyrim's music.)
  4. Hello; Tigersong here with a small request. Could someone convert a music file into the format used by Skyrim? Specifically it's the Morrowind theme on guitar; this one has the file handy.
  5. Version 0.15

REQUIRES DAWNGUARD DLC Hello everyone! This is my project I've been working on since mid or early September; albeit alot of the time was spent getting resources together and messing with database and editing music to work nicely and messing around with meshes- you know I have no idea where I'm going with this. The idea of this mod is simple, it makes the game a more into the Holiday Spirit with quests, gear, decorations, and the like. Current Version uploaded on here is 0.15 - Adds Halloween music to many areas, as well as decoration of Whiterun and a voice acted quest which starts in the Whiterun Graveyard, and an unfinished quest in the quest in the whiterun graveyard as well involving a mask... Falkreath is mildly decorated and it's Graveyard is where it's quest will take place. (big surprise, not?) It's sort of a large project, and hopefully you will only need to download the texture, meshes, and music files once and update using the Main File updates, although I will upload mesh and texture updates as I get more. I kind of recommend downloading from my Nexus page as it's going to be updated, way more often than here because it's so much easier to upload files there. Also note: Not all of the objects in the rights/permissions are used yet. Version 0.5 is uploaded on the nexus, and the files are a bit too large to cut up for here.
  6. Hi, My bard NPC can currently play songs that have been requested by the player. However, I can't seem to get the bard to play songs while idling / sandboxing. I've checked the other bards in the game (i.e. Lisette or Sven) and haven't gotten much wiser. I see the script BardSongsScript appears to have functions to choose what songs the bard should play and to avoid repeating the same song twice. But I can't seem to get it working / trigger it correctly. If you know how to get a bard playing songs while idling, I would love to know how!
