  1. This is a very old project of mine that consists in bringing the Pale Pass into Skyrim! In Oblivion, the Pale Pass was a forgotten Akaviri outpost where the player was sent by Countess Narina Carvain from Bruma, in order to find an artefact she coveted. The names of the different places found there all relate to the serpent and were probably chosen by the Akaviri invaders, Akaviri Commander Mishaxhi belonging to the Tsaesci (which means Snake Palace) nation, from Akavir: the Serpent's Trail, and the five different zone the fort contains: Mouth of the Serpent, Eyes of the Serpent, Fangs of the Serpent, Venom of the Serpent, Scales of the Serpent. Several years after playing that part of Oblivion, the game, I'm still under the influence of how I felt then when I discovered that place - I am under that influence as I'm writing this. This is why I want to bring it back into Skyrim. I am making this mod for me especially; I'm willing to share it with everyone although I'm sure that some people will be disappointed. This mod will be essentially about exploration and (re)discovery. Just be there, take your time, visit, feel and experience the place. Side note: Dragons are a race of serpents (somehow). How the Akaviri came to chasing them to death is an interesting question. History of the Pale Pass as told by the Black Horse Courier: Two hundred years after the events depicted in Oblivion, the Pass is blocked by avalanches but an Imperial adventurer found a way in. Well, not exactly; actually she found clues about a cave that could lead to the Serpent's Trail, a small cave network, that lead to the Pale Pass. She was killed before she could explore further though. This is where we begin: the player finds the adventurer's corpse and her journal, the player finds the cave and, in homage to the dead woman, names it "The Adventurer's Sorrow", after exploring The Adventurer's Sorrow, the player falls into The Serpent's Trail, the player explores The Serpent's Trail and enters the Pass, at the end of the Pass, lie the ruins of the old Imperial fort the Akaviri had taken over and its five interior zones. Map: Progression: For now, two places are (mostly) finished: The Adventurer's Sorrow, The Pale Pass exterior world. Yeah!
