A Weird Minimizing Problem!

Hi, this never happened when I first got my computer and these were the first to games I installed.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

TESIV: Oblivion

I have Steam (but not launched from), Xfire, EA download manager and Kapersky Anti-Virus running in the background.

Basically a mouse will appear in the top-left corner, and if you click on the second it happens, it minimzes and usually then crashes because of it.

Its happening only on these two from what I can see so far.

Anybody know how to solve this?

Try closing those programs when you play.

Xfire is the culprit. Shut it down before playing.

Aye, was Xfire.

Disabled each and ran it to find what was doing it.

Turns out its the overlay interfereing even though I use a no-mouse skin to stop multi-mice crashes.

I just had to disable the in-game for Oblivion in Xfire's options, but apparentely while this is widespread, it doesn't happen to everyone.

I'm looking for a fix.
