Adding dead skeletons...

I could use a bit of guidance here.    I want to add some dead skeletons to a mod. Dead as in, they're not going to get up and fight the player. LOL Just want to scatter them around as the aftermath of something else.

Problem is, the only dead skeletons I see listed in the CS are quest related and I certainly don't want to mess with that and risk breaking something. I know I could just scatter a bunch of the static bones about but that wont give quite the feel I was looking for.

Is there a simple to do this that I'm just missing? Thanks all!   :simba:

Messing around with dead bodies with the use of the havok switch can be fun and frustrating at times.

Especially when you want the corpse to be in a specific, complex position. With skeletons it's even more difficult since their bones start rolling around the place and you have no control over these.  aa_tongue.gif

Thanks for the tip, Floydian!  aa_biggrin.gif

I remember, in Morrowind, that Korana made a very cool drunk guard sitting on a chair and asleep on the table by combining different meshes of the the Imperial Armor parts. It looked very realistic.

Korana.... How I love thy Morrowind mods!

Skeletons can be used to perform all kinds of NPC idle animations as well. As as test for one of Waalx' WAC dungeons I created a few cowering and praying skeletons. very cool. Just thought I might mention this, in case someone finds it a usefull feature for their mod.

Cheers!
