Motorhead - "Overkill"

Blimey, how young they look! I'm not generally a metal fan, though I think this one's really filed under Lemmy's preferred categorisation of "nasty rock'n'roll". This was the first Motorhead track I heard after randomly buying the eponymous album (on vinyl!) and absolutely hating it for the longest time, but I eventually got a taste for it. Ended up seeing them live several times; but I'm the only person I know who's fallen asleep during a Motorhead gig. Look, I was tired.

I've always found that song incredibly atmospheric; some people seem to not like it but I've always loved it personally. Can't believe he died so young, though; same week as Pete Postlethwaite, another nice guy who died far too soon.
