Ok, I think I am ready (I hope?). I used TES4Edit to clean the mod, as I find it better for me than Gecko. Now, here goes, PRESENTING, "THE HOUSE OF ME":

This one, I actually did myself,...

LOL, my toon from Morrowind!

As a tribute to Lynda Carter, who did the female Nords for both TES III & TES IV + the female Orcs in TES IV, I made this pic.

Now for the vid to sum it all up!

Note: If there is any tweaking or corrections I need to make before releasing it, plz let me know. DR, shall I send you a copy of my mod so you can see it? Let me know, ok? Thanks.

FINAL PROJECT FOR INTRO CLASS (some files format problems remain which keep me from getting pics of the basement ...but here is the rest:

The Story: Years ago, a Countess was widowed from one of the cities, and came here to the wilderness to ease her grief, she brought with her just a few tokens of her former state and lived alone here with her garden and her memories. She found solace in her later years with the companionship of a reclusive former vagabond mercenery seafaring wandere who build his retreat across the lake, and they would visit each other for a glass of wine of an evening crossing the water in their ownu boats, to sit and watch the stars reflected in the water and talk of their adventures and far off things. Her guardian sprit was the Goddess Mara and Mara stands watch in her garden, his was the spriit of the Sea and a Mermaid watchs over them both.

Looks great, I'd like to see some shots in game!! Overall though, well done on your exam, you have passed the class and your release is approved! :D

My one comment would be to avoid using a model with a snowy roof in a temperate location. There is a "no snow" version of the Bruma roof texture. You just need to pull the house model from the BSA and change the texture path to match the no snow texture and then add it to the CS like a resource.

For more info of changing textures and adding resources you can read here:

Very nice Mystic looks very well done! :hugs:

I have one small note, you will want to add shadows around the edges of things you place like houses and stones, bushes, etc. It give the setting more depth.

Because you did the release option you will need to actually release the mod and link me in order to get the last points, medals, and pass the class. :D

Hey DarkRider,

Final mod is moving along nicely..........................................but.............lol

I need a tutorial or some guidance on how to clean up that annoying grass that only appears in game and not CS.

Any help is appreciated.

I think you are still working on the "World Builder" class.....................

Hi Stan,

Grass can be a noteable pain to get rid of, it's just the nature of the beast as it were. What you need to do is select a NO GRASS version of your grass texture. You need to expand the ID column in the landscape editor to read the full name. Those with no grass literally say No Grass at the end. With a no grass texture selected set your max opacity to 100 and paint over the areas where grass is an issue. This should take care of it pretty well, but it's not unusual to end up with some straggly weed in your steps you just can't get rid of. Don't fret over it, that's just Oblivion. :hugs:

The worlbuilding class is still a WIP yes, it's a longer class with many parts, but it will be up this year. :)

Yes we prefer you to release here actually so we can link to it in the graduates list :D

A full set of screens isn't required, I do need to see at least screens of your pathing and you will want to include screens with your file to entice downloaders.

Most of the exams I just download and look at first hand before signing off on the project. :D
