How to make a spell that alters character color and stats?

In the anime a guy named sasuke has a curse mark. He turns brownish grey, wings sprout out of his back, and he becomes much stronger. What would be my first step?

Change your color? That might require a fully body suit... Perhaps you would use something like the werewolf suit.

For the wings you are going to need a wings resource and add it to the player as an equipable armor or clothing.

For the strength, you could probably do that many ways. The easiest would be an enchantment on the wings that increases your strength.

I have figured out the wing part. I just dont know how Im going to get the character to turn to a different color.

Could I even make it where my character turns into a different race via spell that looks close to what im wanting?

Changing your race is a nightmare you probably don't want to chase after. It will mess with the players stats...

And the stats are difficult to get back as they are reset.

Unless that has all changed in the last year. Or there is a OBSE way to do it.

So nothing at all that you know know of makes this possible? Have you tried or heard of the tiefling transformation mod. Its a crazy transformation and it works. The character looks completely different.

If you know of a mod that does what you want, you might try sending the author a PM asking how they did it. They may be willing to give you some tips if you can reach them.

That makes it harder yeah. Have you tried looking at in in the CS, see if you can figure out how it works?

Ive looked around. But ive only made one simple mod so im not to sure.

Be warned his questline is what causes his crashes. Other than that his transformation is fine.

From what I could make out from the trailer, it looks like a spell is cast.

your first transformation is from getting your health below 2/3 in a battle. After that you do a glitchy quest and learn to control it for a limited amount of time. Then you have to do even more glitchy quests to level it up. I couldnt level it up because the quests cause crashes.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to help with this. The author only has an OMOD version, I need the .esp and don't have the tools on this PC to unpack an OMOD. My main modding rig in in the shop as it were. If someone can unpack the OMOD and PM me the .esp I could try then. Sorry mate

From what I could tell though, it looks like that mod is pretty reliant on non vanilla trickery using Tibixes String Function Collection and OBSE to achieve that effect, not many will be able to help you duplicate it and it will be a tough challenge for a beginner modder.

You may want to look at simpler methods like what WillieSea described, maybe a human suit that looks different but is equipable; you can use a script to force the suit on and so it can't be removed until X time that way it appears to be a transformation. Probably fewer chances of CTDs that way too.

Actually I only used his mod. I didnt even download the body modifiers or any of the other requirements. Besides OBSE which everyone already has of course.

I dont.

If you want to make a whole new suit, you will have to learn how to create your own model using a 3D program. And then attach the 'bones' to the skeleton of the suit. Its not easy stuff to do.

That is why I recommended making your own 'take' on the curse, and use a pre-existing body suit.

I thought everyone had to have OBSE. Its required for almost every mod. Or maybe its not, I dont pay much attention to it.

I'm sure that would work, and would be a hell of a lot easier then using a outfit. Plus you could wear any clothing you want, although I think everything you wear would turn brown.

Not true, I thought of this, but figured turning everything brown would not be ideal
