Body Replacer

I'm having trouble with installing a female body replacer. I'm using TGND. I've installed it accordingly but the body won't show up in-game. Instead I get the vanilla body. Any ideas?

This might sound like a silly question, but how do you know it's not working? What issues are you seeing? (To me, TGND is as close to vanilla as you can get).

Have you ensured the armor and clothing folders were installed?

Did you BOSS your load order, and is TGND high in your load order list?

Do you use Wrye BASH and have you imported the graphics tags properly? Did you rebuild your bashed patch?

If you have SI, are you activating both esps?

Armor replacers aren't working and the body looks 'exactly' like vanilla. I've had a look at the meshes in nifskope and... they do not look like what I'm seeing in-game.

And you have no other armor replacers? I'm not sure what else to say except perhaps post your load order from Bash and it might lead to an aha moment.

OTOH, looks like someone else is having the exact same problem as per comments over at Nexus. Luchaire has yet to respond.

What method of Archive Invalidation are you using? Good old Archive invalidation Invalidated? BSA redirection? I've been using TGND since it was a private beta and it has never caused me any issues.

When you dig into your meshes/characters/_male directory, do you see the correct female upperbody and lowerbody.nifs as well?

BSA Redirection. I used it since private beta as well but I've reinstalled recently and now I'm having problems. Yes, I've got the right .nifs.

Yeah, I noticed the other person having problems too at TESNexus. I'll post my Load Order soon.

I tried to see if any other body replacers had the same problem and they worked fine.

I don't know what to tell you, V. I don't use Bain installation (I went with a manual install), which is what the person who was having trouble on Nexus used, and you say you found TGND's nifs in your meshes/characters/_male folder.

One thing though- I am using version one of the mod. I haven't moved to version 2, since I didn't feel a need to. Does version 1 display correctly?

Well, there's certainly nothing in that LO that would be blocking it. And if you followed the BAIN install by selecting the sub-packages 00, 10, and one of 20, I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

I assume you've tried uninstalling and re-installing?

Yeah, sorry V. If you've tried reinstalling in every manner possible, and it still doesn't work, then I am out of ideas, besides reverting to an earlier version, and hoping it works.
