Probably won't bite, personally. £130 (US$212) is just too much, and the content is rather disappointing. Shame, really, I'd been looking forward to it but I'd anticipated £50 or so and something that was comparable to other recent collector's editions such as The Witcher 2, Bioshock 2 or even Bethesda's own New Vegas CE. I'm a bit taken aback by this, though.

I'll admit I have pre-ordered, but that's on the basis that the price will be at least cut in half and they'll expand on what's on offer, otherwise I'll get the regular edition for little more than just a fifth of the price.

It does seem a bit steep, but I have noticed an increase in the last year on CE's of close to $90 here, for mostly the same content offered in the past. Still, won't be updating anything until Tomorow after work, somehow I doubt I will have trouble getting it pre-ordered, half the time the Canadian EB/Gamestop are behind on even getting the CE's into their system so they can't sell out because they don't even have them listed.

I've also noticed an increase, from perhaps £50 to £60 (RRP being about £10 more), at least at a glance: I haven't done extensive research or anything. But a jump to £130 is quite a serious hike, especially as the content isn't all that good. I'm still hoping to see a hefty reduction before release date, but it's hard to say whether or not I'm being naively optimistic...

I was thinking about the statue, and I collect Anime statues, usually they cost me between $100 and $200 a pop, they are PVC, but of really high quality, I can see the PVC statue costing a bit but it better be of high quality or it screams of rip off.

Any TES Collector Edition that doesnt have an actual Septim in it is not worth the name.

Oh nice, the M&M6 CE has been done well, the last CE I bought that was worth it, IMHO, was Witcher 2.

On Meo's comment, just today as I upgraded my Skyrim pre-order, I was mentioning that to the manager at EB games. I thought the coin for the CE in Oblivion was great, I loved it myself. I think they could have put in a nice quality coin, heck I got 2 coins with Witcher 2.
