A good e-mail client?

It's a fairly simple question: I want to centralize all my e-mail accounts in one program and, so far, I've been using Outlook 2003 which came with my copy of MS Office. I was wondering if there as a better alternative since my knowledge of that is, well, none. I'd like to hear what you guys and gals have to say. Many thanks in advance.

Outlook is a pretty robust, and feature packed client. I don't think you will find one that does more...... If you are just looking for something that does email though..... Outlook Express is JUST email, but, I am not sure it is available as a separate app. Thunderbird is Mozilla's version of OE though, and is extremely similar, and free....

I used Outlook, but lately I have given up on clients. I also used Windows Live Mail, or what's it's name, but I prefer Outlook.

I keep going back to Alpine which I've used in one form or another since the '90s. It doesn't do graphics, however, which might put some people off; I've been trying to migrate to a windows- or web-based mailer in all that time but I haven't found anything I like.

+1 for another Thunderbird user... I haven't used any other since Thunderbird made its debut. I have 3 Gmail accounts and several other emails attached to Thunderbird.

I guess I'll give Thunderbird a try, see how it fairs. Outlook is a good one, even though my version is a bit old.
