CS startup problems after reinstall

Today I uninstalled Oblivion to install it clean again and free from unused mods and all the stuff that gathers. OK, so now I'm trying to reinstall the Construction Set too, but I get this message saying that "it appears you have not installed Oblivion" and then something like this.

Nothing loads in the CS and no Oblivion.esm is present in the list of data files. Of course, I have Oblivion installed (I am using the Steam Version, btw.) and the CS has worked like a charm before. Does anyone know how to change the patch the CS is looking for so it can find Oblivion.esm?

EDIT: God! Stupid me! Now I just put it in the installation folder of OB and now it works as it should! why did I even have to start this topic!? I've installed the CS three times before! Sorry about this.

And I did even more stupidities while installing the game anew.

First, I got a CtD when starting, and I thought it was OBSE's fault and started fiddling for an hour with that as well as the load order. No-no. By then I noted that I just had to delete my Oblivion.ini-file, since I've had the game installed before! That's also something I've done like a hundred times and it shouldn't have taken me an hour to get sorted. Geez.

Second, my game still crashed without giving any error at all. I couldn't for the life of me understand what ever it could be. I mean, I only had my own mod in the load order and its affiliated files. Well, after much thinking about this, I noted that one of my files is actually dependent of CM Partners, and the game won't start when an .esp is dependent of an unloaded .esm. This is also something I should have thought of immediately, and it should not have caused any problems at all.

The stupid things I've done tonight. Oh well, you live and learn, innit? But now, Oblivion is up and running in vanilla state again. Only my own mod loaded. Yay!
