Okay, for one of my Oblivion modding projects Im using nifse to merge armor meshes together.

There is a problem though, I can't copy the nitristrip over else it crashes (this is a problem with nifse, it doesnt look like it'll be fixed). SO Im looking for a way to make a dirty armor nif, where I can copy over the Scene Root over and make it display.

What I mean is, does anyone know of some hack-job ways of merging armor nifs that will still work.
