Enchantments on Inventory items

I have a certain item that I have 4 spells on it. The item is carry only, just like the Dark Scales from the DB

The 4 enchantments are in constant affect. I copied the Dark Scales script and modified and removed all the "ModActorValue" stuff out and modified it to what I need.

The script and the spell as an ability works, however the 4 icons are ALWAYS showing in the top right corner.

How do I get rid of those stupid icons?

Are you using existing magic effects for the 4 spells? Each effect has an effect icon, which is what you're seeing.

To remove it, create new magic effects and don't use an effect icon?

(I'm kinda just guessing here...)

I created a new spell, right clicked, add, selected what I wanted, gave duration and strength, etc. click okay, saved.

Ok, when I asked if you were using existing magic effects, the answer would be yes.

If you look under Gameplay > Magic Effects you'll see each of your effects listed there. Looks like this;

Right about the middle is the "effect icon" box, which is what you're seeing. My suggestion is, create duplicates of those 4 effects to remove the icon.

I thought you couldn't modify the magic effect settings. I don't get any option to duplicate or create new magic effect.

You can't do that without the CSE (Construction Set Extender), but you shouldn't need to. Ability type spells are always active and don't require a duration. Set the duration for all of your effects to 0 and the icons should remain invisible.
