Conflict Report

Based on the feature list for RST 1.0.5, I know RST 1.0.4 has a conflict with Knights of the Nine in the Cheydinhal chapel that 1.0.5 resolves. In looking at the 1.0.4 ESP with TES4EDIT, I can also report that version has a conflict in the same location with Oblivifall: Losing My Religion (LMR): http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=31668

LMR alters all of the chapel interiors to make each of them unique to a specific god. There is a patch provided in the LMR archive for Knights of the Nine as it had a similar conflict in Cheydinhal with the altar, since both of them touched the altar.

Based on the 1.0.4 ESP and the recommended BOSS load order, TES4EDIT reports the following taking place in the chapel:

1) Knights touches the altar

2) RST adds its references to the altar

3) LMR disables the altar and replaces it with its own custom altar of Arkay

4) The Losing My Relgion-Knights patch restores the altar with its Knights of the Nine reference to a separate location in the chapel, in order to provide Knights of the Nine compatibility.

Since I'm not sure exactly how you changed things in this location for 1.0.5 I figured I should go ahead and report it, since any changes to the altar itself will likely continue to conflict with Losing My Religion.

Thanks.

RST disables the altar and replaces it with a custom mesh for our mainquest. In 1.0.5 the original is re-enabled after the needed quest stage.

I suspect RST's custom mesh will be enabled prematurely by LMR and our custom altars will overlap. Then RST will re-enable the original and that will overlap LMR's altar. I'll have to look at the LMR-KOTN patch and see what it changes and what could be done.

Thanks for the conflict report :good:

In case it's helpful, here's a screenshot from TES4EDIT showing the interaction between Knights, RST 1.05, LMR, and the LMR-Knights patch around the default altar.

When looking at things in game, it looks like the Altar of Arkay added by LMR and the Altar of the Nine added by RST are overlapping each other, as their coordinates are identical. That may or may not be a problem, since depending on where the mouse is on the altar you can select either the Altar of the Nine or the Altar of Arkay object to activate it. Given that, I just don't have enough of an understanding about how RST is supposed to work to know whether things will work as they should at the appropriate times, so I appreciate the support you guys are offering.

In one quest, RST enables a special version of that altar that has a hidden compartment in the back. After the player retrieves the quest item, the RST altar is disabled and the original altar restored so that it doesn't conflict with KOTN. Not sure what the conflict will be with LMR but I imagine if he nuked the original altar and replaced it with his own RST will still enable her altar but the LMR altar won't disable so could potentially stop players from accessing RST's hidden compartment. In theory
