easiest way, go into the add/remove program and uninstall it. As long as your data isnt in the default location, it should be fine. For safe measure, rename the file its in to something else temporarily

Nope it isn't the easiest way, because there is a very useful tool called GetMWRoot included in the BSA Browser tool and all you need to do is to run it then the registry should be updated. :)

Open up the registry (Start->Run->"regedit" without the quotes) and do a search for Morrowind. If you're using Windows 7 64-bit, it should be under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Installed Path. Right click on that and select edit. You should then be able to point it to the proper folder.
