[Req][OB] Modeler Needed

I am now in need of someone who can take the meshes of the various creatures and monsters of Tamriel and make statue cersions of them that I can use in place of my failed attempts at living statues. Hopefully someone will decide to take the time to help out

Strike that... I just noticed this is for Oblivion. Sorry.

Skyrim has many static meshes of the animals in the BSA files, but that won't help you for Ob.

I did make a number of static animal displays in the Ancient Towers mod. I basically took the static body mesh and added the static head meshes to it, in the CK.

The Fighters Stronghold DLC had some creature statues in it. If you have that DLC perhaps you can see how they did it.

I don't actually have Battlehorn Castle, or any of the other house DLC. But I did find something that could solve the problem if I get the permission to use them.

Did you abandon the idea meanwhile?

I tried to make some test creature-statues in NifSkope. They seem to be o. k. but for some unknown reason the collision that I added for them in Nifskope (Create Convex Shape) does not work at all in the game. So if you want collision for the statues you have to put a collision box around them in the CS.

Edit: Found out meanwhile what the collision needed to work. Sent you the new files via PM.

I made 3 test nifs. Have a look at them if you can make use of them.

All I did was create a new static object, and point to the body parts of the creatures. It works just fine, I did not need nifskope or any other program.

@Willie: I wonder how to do this in Oblivion then? Mountain Lion for example consists of body nif, head nif, left paw nif, right paw nif.

I put a mountain lion and a leapord in the Ancient Towers, in the enchantress shop. Each 'piece' is a seperate static nif. The CS allows you to put pieces together.

Looks like I will have the majority of what I need now, but once I take an inventory of what creatures I have and what I still need/want I may be back with requests
