Today in Skyrim...

Today in Skyrim, a new adventurer is waiting to be born. I want to roll a new character to keep me busy during winter break!

But my last adventure was with Heather K, my Redguard battlemage, who was running around with a Dunmer mercenary she met on Solstheim. He was lamenting his boredom with the island's familiarity, so she dragged him back to Skyrim, whereupon he began lamenting his boredom over his familiarity with Windhelm, where he apparently lived before relocating to Raven Rock. So, she slapped him across his Chitin helm and told him that only boring people get bored. :queen:

Well upon the advise of InsanitySorrow I decided to finally travel to Solstheim. Her name is Myrin Naheem, level 17 wood elf. She is a sneaky little squirt, great at archery and enjoys throwing a fireball here and there as well. Needless to say the fireballs thrown at her on this island are a lot stronger than the ones she can throw back.

So shes taken to floating up and down with great pleasure when she enters Tel Mithryn. (or is that my amusement more than hers lol)

Myrin enjoys the company of Lydia of late. Though of late Lydia has decided to wonder. I am sure she will pop up when she decides to stop saving the world lol!!! Lydia seems to be a bit protective of young Myrin, she jumps right out in the middle of the fight. Sometimes she needs to be told to wait. Myrin enjoys the companionship though she wishes she spoke a little more. Maybe along her travels she can meet someone to join her adventures who has a little more to say at times.

Today in Skyrim Freya is about to enter a special little mine near riverwood where a group of unsuspecting bandits are going to be robbed blind. Possibly before being the test subjects on her newly forged steel sword. Her sister Hrist isn't far behind having just arrived and has an itch to use something big and heavy.

Today in Skyrim, Kiki is crossing over to the dark side, drunk with the power of alchemy. It turns out that Hearthfire adds an ingredient, salmon roe, that makes for some very powerful and very expensive waterbreathing potions, no fortification gear needed. Well, once Kiki discovered this, she went mad, hopping upstream and frying salmon alive with her "Flames" spell, then scouring the lake bottom for Nordic Barnacles to combine with the roe. The most lethal poisoner in Skyrim has just become even more dangerous, as each potion brewed hones her already formidable alchemic knowledge, and sells for thousands of gold. I fear for her sanity.

Recently Freya's found herself in quite an interesting situation. While wandering the area between Helgen and Riverwood she was ambushed by hired thugs, not wanting to deal with them she took off. Like any smart thief would, only to come across some would be soldiers who killed some imperials, no loss to her but wanted to take 100 gold from her, or her life. She did the only sensible thing a nord would do. Took out her bow, and let the arrows fly. When it was over she left with all their gear and sold it. To make matters worse later that night she apparently got the attention of the thalmor, who wanted her killed with most hatred. Apparently helping others kill thalmor was a bad thing! Who knew?! Course it didn't help she somehow irked some imperials and got attacked as well... Sheesh! And she hasn't even gone to bleak falls yet!
