I'm more of an FPS I was formerly in =Fs= with Hobbs playing CoD4 but moved on. I still play CoD4 as well as BF2, CS:S, HL2:DM,RB6V, GTA3, used to play Fable.

I have been thinking about getting into Oblivion but feel I would need a better GFX card first.

Welcome to the Alliance, Mate! Oblivion is a great game, but a good graphics card helps I'm sure. I'm surprised mine runs as well as it does!

Fable 2 is coming out in October this year I think, looks like it's going to be a great game:

What do you run the game on DR?  Me, I went from a GF 6200 to an 8800.  Finally got to see the opening movie.  NPCs blink in the CS.  I get over 6 FPS in most places.  Yeah, the upgrade helped.

If I were an FPS guy, I'd get a better video card for Crysis, not Oblivion.  My friend is an FPS guy - thinks Morrowind is a steamy pile, and ignores Oblivion.  It's odd, because we played PnP D & D long before you guys were born, probably...(early 80s)  

Upgrade the card, get the game, install OOO, steal a bow, go nuts!

my card is not terrible but could be better I'm running a 7900GTX so 2 years old I don't like crysis to much so I didn't bother to upgrade for that, but CoD4 is kind of choppy and is starting to annoy me so I might upgrade just for that reason. I'm 17 so money is hard to come buy and when I do get it, it ain't that much. So maybe sometime in the future I will play with you guys.

Your card should run oblivion just fine. Should be able to max most settings. (provided you have a processor up to the task....)

Well I know it ill run oblivion stock but if I was to play I would want to add textures and a whole bunch of crap and my CPU is fine its an x2 4600+
