someone please help, i am using modders resources and they come out blue, i am new to modding, should the folder structure be like this
 
 
 
skyrim -
Data - 
Meshes -
(Modders Name)-
 
(Folder  Names e.g. Furniture, Rugs)
 
skyrim -
Data - 
Textures -
(Modders Name)-
 
(Folder  Names e.g. Furniture, Rugs)

Good start, but I would consider taking it one level deeper. Beneath (Modder's Name) add something like a (Mod Title) folder and put your furniture, rugs, etc. folders under that. After all, you may enjoy modding enough that you will make more than one mod, and it will be easier to package each one if the pieces aren't all mixed in with the others.

Hi I am fairly new to trying to edit a mesh or texture with nifscope or other tools.  I have a few things I have managed to accomplish but need help with this one

 

I have a picture located here  that I would like to have on a portal screen which I can place in front of a door.   If anyone knows how to do this I would be extremely grateful.

What is it that you are trying to do? It looks like a screenshot with the cursor ( 4 pointers) in the middle and has been saved in dds format.
