Doors opening with a too wide angle

Dear TESA members,

I'm fairly new to this website so I hope I'm in the right section regarding my quesiton.

I started 'modding' around 2 weeks ago and I'm just following some tutorials. Now I do like

to just wander off on my own and checking all the options that come with the handy creation

kit. I'm bulding a cavesystem right now. The problem is; I have a door leading to one of the

rooms. As soon as I open the door though, it opens "too much" leading to the door being

'stuck' in the wall. Now the door is not really stuck (I can still close it). It's just

graphical. Is there anyway, any box I'm missing where I can tell the door how far

it should be opening?

Thanks ahead.

You can actually control the door animation

You can find the nif for it open it modify the animation for open and close just a weee bit to make it not open so far, and then save it with a new name import it to a new door object and presto :P

Little more work but it is do-able

That's true.

I never edited animations, but it should be possible with the help of Nifskope. I already checked it. Nifskope is also an animation editor. Unfortunatelly for you, I don't know how to use it.
