Hello, I'm new to TESA and have never tried any kind of mods before, I'm looking for someone who can help me figure out what to do with a mod I downloaded today. I'm trying to figure out how to upload it from my documents to skyrim when I go to play it. The mod is: DragonBorn Werewolf Replacer Player Only by Kryptonian. I downloaded it and it came as a zipped file, I used winzip to unzip it. I opened the resulting folder and found these two files: Kryptonian and Dogtown1's Werewolf Replacers Pack 4.bsa and Kryptonian and Dogtown1's Werewolf Replacers Pack 4.esp. I'm not sure what .bsa and .esp is all about, but neither am I sure how to add the mod to my game. I would have used the one from steam, but it was for the vanilla skyrim and I don't know if it will work with the Skyrim legendary edition. Can anyone help me? I'd really appreciate it and I would love to use this mod.Thank you and have a nice day.

The Steam version will work with any version of Skyrim.

If you want to use the version you downloaded from here, just drop the bsa and the esp files into the Data folder that you'll find in the Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim directory. On launching the game, make sure that the esp is activated in the Data files options in the launcher.

LOtM is correct, may I also suggest that if you plan on using mods, you make a new folder on another drive with a name like Misc. Zips ... or something. Inside this folder you can create sub folders for Skyrim and other games you might want to mod. This is where you down load the mods to using the "save as" option. This will give you a base archive. That done Creat another folder on a drive of your choice and name it something like "Misc. Unzips". This is where you will unzip your chosen mod to after creating a subfolder with the mods name. That way you can look at the file structure and check out the read me .... always read the ReadMe.

I know this sounds complicated but, I learned the hard way that it`s best to keep these things organized for future reference. Especially after you`ve been bitten by the mod bug and find yourself trying to manage 5, 10, or even hundreds of mods.

Thank you for your help, Now I can look for more mods and use them if I can't find them on Steam. My only regret now is that I can't use the Familiar Faces mod because I can only find it on the nexus, I wish I could afford to use the nexus, but I'll settle for what I have. Thank you for your help and have a great day. :)

I wish I could afford to use the nexus, .....

What do you mean? TES Nexus is free, you only have to make an account there like here on this site if you want to download mods.

There are "Premium memberships" for those who don't want ads and want to support the site but you don't need that. I myself are only a "normal" member there.
