If grond no longer has the model, I've actually started piling the vanilla skulls together in Blender after seeing your recent request on BGS (didn't know there was an active request here). I wasn't going to say anything until it was finished but what the hell. ;)

 

Or, if grond has the model he can shoot it to me and I'll finish it up, texture it and make the collision. I like his shape better.

#1: I'm lazy.

#2: I'm not sure how to do that and keep them from falling apart if the player bumps into them. Also I need something the player can activate.

I can do nothing about you being lazy but collision boxes are the answer to your concern #2. And, to avoid the skulls falling apart, there is a script that added to each of them will prevent that; it's called "defaultdisablehavokonload". :)

So, uh, how's that pillar coming, Grond? :D

 

After the first burst I've only been able to do a little work on it. I'd love to do a high poly sculpt for you, giving these faces their horrified expressions. Trouble is my dream job is taking up all my time (yay). :D  So I'll take Hana up on her offer so she can finish it.

So...any news? :)

Maybe yous should resort to making it yourself, by piling up skulls in the ck, shaping them into the form you want to give your pillar and "glue" them together by using the DefaultDisableHavokOnLoad script. Once finished, put the pilar into a collision box and that's it.

 

Otherwise you'll ask for news forever. ;)

Yeah Jac, sorry, forgot to update. :)

 

Progress so far. Combination of grond's excellent tower plus real skulls. I found trying to just texture it with skulls wasn't working out well. I'm in the process of optimizing it, removing tons of poly's inside the tower that are unecessary from the skulls. Tedious.

 

Is this what you had in mind?
