Yeah a Mannequin Problem, BUT.....

I haven't seen this particular problem come up.  

 

I'm just learning how to set up the mannequins.  Went through a YouTube vid from DarkFox.  The mannequin accepts my armor, BUT, when I give him armor his body part that is wearing whatever armor I gave him becomes invisible while I am still in the menu.  When I leave the menu, he is turned completely around with the armor on.

 

Any insights into this issue?

Running any mods that affect mannequins?

 

Is the armor from vanilla game?

I have no other mods effecting mannequins.  Yes, only armor from vanilla.

 

Edit:  I figured it out.  The pyramid shape thing on the markerheading needs to face in the direction you want the mannequin to face.  Mine was facing about-face.
