[SKY] Custom arrow texture help

So, i'm trying to add some new arrows to the game. They're just a recolour of the elven arrows, and i've already done the texturing but there's a problem in the game itself. The arrows look fine at first but when i fire them they revert back to the default elven arrow texture. This also happens when viewing the projectile in the creation kit. I know that i need to change the texture of the projectile but i'm not entirely sure how to do that, so could anyone help me out?

There's a couple of ways to do this, depending on how you want to do your retexturing.

1> By copying existing meshes and updating the texture path in Nifskope.

- You'll need to copy/change 2 meshes. For example, the dwarven arrow would use both meshes\weapons\dwarven\dwarvenarrow.nif and meshes\weapons\dwarven\dwarvenarrowprojectile.nif. The projectile mesh is what you're missing. Both meshes use the same texture file.

- You can find the arrows in the CK under Items > Ammo, and the projectile under Special Effect > Projectile. Copy any existing record to create your own.

2>By creating a TextureSet for your new arrow texture and doing the work in the CK.
