An Introduction Post

Hmm... the sticky post (I think it was a sticky post, the forum here looks a bit different to that of the Nexus sites) said it would be a good idea to start posting with a small introduction, so I thought I might make one, though it will certainly not be an interesting one and such.

The reason why I made an account here is that it seems there are some tutorials available. Not that it would have been the only reason for it, though. There seems to be something more here, as well, like the forums. Hmm... I have not really browsed much here yet, as most places said I needed an account, so I do not really know what to expect. Also, the downloads seem to require an account. So I made one. And I had heard of TES Alliance before, but I never really knew what it was and what it had to offer, so I thought this might be a good way to find out.

And a bit about myself. The first Elder Scrolls game I played was Oblivion, and I played it completely without mods. Then I found the unofficial patches, and installed them using the .exe installer. But why would I need an .exe installer to install a few plugins? So I searched for more information, tried various tools for mod management and eventually ended up making some mods myself, too. So I like the Elder Scrolls games, at least the ones I have played (mostly Oblivion, some Skyrim and a bit Morrowind). I have made a few mods, although I still would not count myself a 'mod-maker' (if it is a word).

I have already found the Nexus site, so this is not the first modding community I have found, but the second one. And one of the few sites on the Internet I have created an account on.

That is all I can think of at the moment. I am bad at writing things like this, and one can probably see it. Hopefully, I will find interesting topics on the forums here. And something else of interest, as well. Like I said, I am not sure what there is here, so I am not sure what to expect. But there is definitely something here.

Should someone have questions, I can try to answear them. English is not my native language, so the quality of the answear will likely not be too... high?

Thank you. :) The site has a rather... interesting design. It looks like a forum all over, but there is a separate section for mods. Very interesting. Perhaps I could upload my mods here one day. When I have learned how to use the site, that is. And when I can do it. There seem to be all sorts of restructions here, which is a good thing, of course. Keeps the real world trolls away - the Elder Scrolls ones might still manage to get to the site, packaged in mods, for example...

I am a lot of an odd ball. Have zippylabs complete mod for FO3 on the nexus and some mod videos on youtube under my name(pretty sure links=advertising so no links from me LOL). I mostly do lulz mods while I love and respect balance my mods are for fun or fill a quirky void. Have like 3 or 4 mods in the fire right now the more I work on my current Skyrim mod the more I am just plain annoyed with everything the more I try and work on it. LOL Really need to finish up FONV explosive ammo(cryofrost, emp, poison, exsplosive) plus extra stuff mod(s)…uhg but right now while the muses are demanding I need to fig out this Skyrim thing… oh BTW did I mention I  ramble and am forgetful? :P

Intro part2. The graphics are so good its fun just to watch which is what I do when at truck stops. Im a semi truck driver, I connect to truck stop wifi cause I have limited data plan. On YouTube I watch meatwagon22, I like his gameplay style. The beauty of it is even though I watch someone go thru an area its a different experience when I go thru. I let my 8yr old niece ride the horse cause she loves horses. She did a good job so to spice it up I added primitive breeds mod. After a few hours, she had rode to all of the stables from markarth to windhelm and purchased a horse at each stable. I hope I get permission to post photos cause she was taking this horse to places I didn't think possible. I got a pic of her at the peak of this mountain. So then I had to do something for the 4yr old niece so I added the bunny follower. I wish I had a recorder for gameplay. I left the bunny in for my regular gameplay cause after a while he grows on ya. Anyway I got a chuckle watching two death lord draugr swinging about three feet above the head of my indestructible bunny. Made an excellent distraction that allowed me to easily take them out with my bow.

Last thing, I hung a draugr and I have a pic. Allow me to explain. After I defeated a draugr, it fell back into slotted gate so when I pulled the chain to open it, the draugr was lifted up by the neck. I get a smile just thinking about that. Good times in skyrim

Reason I joined cause I want to decorate Lakeview manor in my own style. The vanilla hearthfire is looks good just not my style. I need more weapon racks. I got excited and loaded mod placeable statics which was good cause I didn't want the bed there and I was able to remove it but after reading further, the mod doesn't work with weapon racks. After much searching not finding mod like placeable statics that lets me add more weapon racks. Not sure if there is one maybe someone could direct me if there is such a mod. Sounds like a challenge so im learning more about interior modding. I might not be able to create a mod everyone can use but at least I can get Lakeview manor the way I want. Just point me to the tutorials.
