[MISC] nDO for Photoshop CS2!

OK kids, if you don't have the drakes (old ES term for money) and you use the dinosaur that is Photoshop CS2, (link in this thread) and you despise the Nvidia normal map plug-in (try it), give nDO a try.

nDo is now a plug-in for the awesome Quixel Suite, but this script was written before Quixel found it. I've been itching to be able to edit the actual normal map instead of editing an image before applying a filter, so I went mining this morning and I found the links. I've played with it for only a few minutes, but the script runs nicely and it delivers, if you follow the installation instructions in the link below.

Have fun! I know I will. :D

Straight to the .zip download  (Link is philipk.net/ndo/nDo.zip for those skeptical folks)

Play around with it Vou. It's pretty good stuff.

The script is exactly what I needed  It resized the first map I tried, and I thought for a minute that maybe it was going to disappoint. But after a few frustrating minutes I answered 'no' to the first question nDo throws at you before it runs: 'Remove bevel where image meets canvas edge?' Seemed counter-intuitive to say no, but I tried that, and it didn't resize.

I wanted to run the script on my albedo/diffuse then bring that new image into my first normal map and overlay it. I merged the layers and groups nDo made, but doing so altered the quality of the image. So I simply dragged the thing to the other image and it worked :)

I have a pretty good tool now :D  Try it out and let me know if you like it.
